What really resonates with me is that she is just brutally honest with her emotions. People normally try to hide them, she radiates with them.

He gave me a beer today. ... - I've gotten.. (struggles) I've got a hair in my mouth. It is very annoying to have hair in your mouth. Aurora is not easy to translate, as she often interrupts herself and trails off sentences without finishing them. I tried to give it a go anyway though. You're welcome warriors.

She's a genius, was a child prodigy. And being so unique takes a lot of courage.
Considering music today, and how many artists lip sing, and look completely bored and lazy during performances-- I’m surprised Aurora isn’t more known and respected. Look at how “into” her music she is! Not just this performance, but every single time you see Aurora singing a song, she’s loving. Makes such a difference.

Just the artist and music that I'm longing for to hear.
It's truly rare these days to find an artist so talented that every single song is worth your undivided attention, as it takes hold of your soul and walks you to a new place. Just wow!

Beautiful, quirky, eccentric, child like, insane, utterly unique, absolutely fearless, gushing with expressiveness in her movements, mesmerizing angelic voice, wildly creative.....I couldn’t look away if I wanted to.
I burst into tears at 23:25 knowing the pain of loss ripping through her body. Frighteningly beautiful.
How can she be so young and yet be so solid? Solid spiritually. She is so grounded in reality, It is almost unbelievable. A tribute to her parents and family.

She seems possessed by the music
In one interview she said she can't watch videos of herself performing - has vowed never to again - because it's too disturbing. She specifically said she looks possessed and can't deal with seeing it.

@@esthergutierrez931 I really don't recall, and she has A LOT of interviews out there and voice sessions where she talks to the hosts about various things. I just recall having UA-cam flipping automatically through Aurora-related videos for a couple of hours once and hearing her talk about that in one of them, thinking "that sounds about right." It was interesting to me because there is that element in a lot of arts; sort of being able to put your Ego to sleep and let the rest of you take back over for a bit. It's part of what makes good art so powerful and compelling, its sort of 'unsocialized' humanness. So I felt like it was probably a good idea from the perspective of a stage artist not to look too closely at themselves from offstage with their everyday eyes. It stuck with me.

It amazes me how quickly Aurora went from a complete unknown to my all time favorite singer/songwriter/ musician of my 41 years of life...... I never knew of anyone to have every single song be my " favorite" song... Add to it the beautiful person she is inside and out and im hooked for life
I am a new fan of Aurora. I am so glad I found her; she should be the definition of beautiful. I have never seen anyone or anything, real or not, make me feel as clean and new as she does with her incredible talent. I am four days in and completely smitten!
In Boxes totally slays me when she performs it. All of her amazing, so very deep songs about our universal hearts, souls and experiences...and then she comes out with this hilarious and delightful Grimm fairy tale type "local legend" and makes such a playful song about it. :D

Saw Zeppelin, The Who, Yes, Tull, ELP, Pink Floyd, McCartney and the like here in NYC, MSG. And all I can say after all these years is this girl is right up there for the best Live shows I've seen. Now don't be a weenie and misinterpret this as she is in their league or better. But she is up there memorably for the sheer cool live show. Just great songs and energy and something different.
I'm an American Bjork fan and concur. She's good, though. I mean Aurora is even the title of a Bjork track off of Vespertine.
Jimmy from NJ, seems like we have the same taste in music, same age maybe? I agree, memorable for the sheer cool live show, great songs, energy and dare I say, in a league of her own. There isn't an artist around that can put on a live show like this that is so absorbing in the way she performs and endearing in the way she seems so unpretentious and down to earth.
You're right Jimmy from NJ, she is something different and it has been a long time for someone like this to finally arrive, in the same way Kate Bush arrived, as something different.

I know it's been two years since you've posted this comment, but her live shows have gathered even more energy than before, energy from AURORA, dancers, her band, AND the crowd. Warrior and Soft Universe (new music, minus Warrior,, and I don't know if you still listen to AURORA) are also some of my favourites.
she has actually surpassed the all and I am 78 and seen in person or video just about anyone across the musical spectrum from jazz to blues to country to pop to opera to
name it. She is a better performer and more importantly her music/lyrics have a much broader and deeper and more important scope. She is and lives her music and has the courage and desire to share it all--- much of it very painful.
She pretty much performed her entire album in One set? Wow

Most fantastic performer I have ever seen. Just incredibly fantastic.
I am 4 months from my 79th birthday and eat and drink music across the full music spectrum be it jazz country blues pop and have seen in person or on film or video thousands of performers. I just can not stop watching this musical magician. She lives her songs and shares the joy and the pain no holds barred. She transports us to a better place. The importance of her and her music cannot be understated as it has enormous scope and unlimited importance for each of us and the planet. Watch AURORA HAIK video and you will see and hear that she believes deep in her soul that her muic can make the world a better place. She is raw and honest and has the couragee to share her feelings with us even in a song like So Quiet which I interpret as a violent act against her will so i take it to mean savage beating or rape--= love is wild she sings. sometimes too wild. Her song you Cant Eat Money is part of lyric is about the life of the planet being at stake. A handful of amzing performers out there--- Gimash Angelina Diana and Aurora. And for me she stands above them all and will continue to grow in every meaningful way, An angellic mesmerizng beautiful soul is now among us. Watch and listen.

Nothing can ever be farther from the truth than someone saying that aurora gave 1 second of thought too ever lipsinking anything in any song anywhere. This girl is a natural wonder, 1 of a kind, and each show is in that spirit.

What can you say but genius is more easily seen than described. Thoroughly entertaining, relaxing but energetic music. Lovely in all respects. Only one Aurora and her band is superb. I wish I had seen her in Los Angeles, but, will have to wait for the next tour. Definitely worth waiting for.
