@Glacialspring when he admitted that the Sens wasn't on his no trade. It was because he was asked what made him waive his no trade. He laughed at the question and said Ottawa wasn't on my no trade. The fact the he laughed at the question shows that he was serious about the answer. Also from what I've learned with Ullmark is that he says it how it is. There is no beating around the bush with him. Watch his post interview from today's game, and you will see for yourself!

Ottawa's defenaive numbers at 5 on 5 were better than boston's last year, it was goaltending and players being unavailable/ playing through injuries that sunk the team last year. None of that is to say they were perfect defensively. they could stand to improve, and i think they will, and having a really good, recent vezina winner who has been good on good and bad teams, will really help, health permitting.
Ottawa needs a fast start and must be at .500 after 20 games at the very least in order to have a hope in hell of making the playoffs.
