I'm dying from that funny bit in the end xd. I found this process and your commentary super relaxing. The palette is just the way you like it, it seems :) Thank you for the tip! xxx
hehe, when you were like "i totally wish I could give you some", I was like 'Pause the video, I'm grabbing a cup" :) Love the Turner Gouache, thanks for creating!
That’s such a lovely colours really love the pales, but the whole set looks so nice to be working with! Also bloopers 😂 you are very cute and I was giggling along with you in the end
Thank you Hanna! Yes, I agree with you, this whole set looks super well balanced. :) Haha I was asking myself 20 times should I include bloopers or not :D Was not sure until last moment, glad that this made you giggling. :D
I really like the color choices of Turner Acryl Gouache (especially that Japaneque series) - I saw many colors in your set that I dont have yet and really want now. Have you tried it with Acrylic mediums? I think they work nicely with Liquitex Slow Dry Blending medium especially - changing its characteristics to be a bit more like oil paint. Lately I have been experimenting with using them with watercolors because I like the contrast between the 2 mediums. I agree with you about packaging of the paints though: names of colors are difficult to see and I dislike how much they feel like toothpaste tubes, but overall I really enjoy using these paints.
I feel series is focusing more on natures colour palette, than turner gouache. I'm now super curious which ones you have and which you would like to try? If you don't mind sharing would love to know! :) I actually have some acrylic mediums, thanks for the tip! I might try to mix medium with gouache! Wow yes, I actually prefer tubes, like a lot of traditional have, but well it's all right. :)
@@kriksis Favorite colors I already have: Deep Red, Yellow Red, Yellow Green, Black Blue and Pale Blue (Japanesque series), Naples Yellow, Coral Red, and Aqua Green (standard) Colors I Want: Strong Orange, Deep Pink, Beige, Grayish Brown and Black Green. I still have not gotten around to making swatches of the colors I have so maybe I will work on that soon. Thanks for the inspiration/ideas. :)
I was also super intrigued by the Japanesque line, I ended up grabbing just one (the deep pink) in my last Jerry's Artarama haul and found the texture really interesting - the other Turner Acrylic Gouaches are so so satiny smooth when dry but these Japanesque ones have a definite sandy finish Not sure whether I love it or not, but I am so drawn to the colors in this line I cant resist them. Thanks for swatching these out for us, I also love watching unboxings and swatching :)
Hello! :) Yes these Japanesque have more natural looking colours, but more sandpaper texture. Which can be both good and bad at the same time. I feel these would be amazing to use with mix media. The texture helps pencils to grip and stay in the place. :) Same can be with soft pastels or something like that. Ooh yes deep pink is such a gorgeous colour. :))
Grinding the dried bits is brilliant 😆 I'm glad it worked out.
That was improvisation and experiment that ended up like an actuall thing. :D

I like your videos, specially your field trips. However I can't pinpoint your accent, where are you originally from.
Thank you so much ArtsyArmo! I am originally from Latvia/Europe so that's where the accent comes from. :D :)
