Behind the Scenes: Making Douk-Douk Knives

The Douk Douk knife has a minimal folder design that has been used for over 70 years. The non-locking slip joint allows the knife to open quickly with a robust back spring. Stamped with “Douk-Douk” and ornate etching, the blade also has a bright yellow steel handle with a bail loop for attaching a lanyard. The knife has two rivets, one to hold the back spring and bail, the other to hold the blade. This lightweight knife will surely become your go-to pocketknife.
