- Yasser Tejeda and his group Palotré pay tribute to ancestral traditions from Dominican Republic. This medley of songs is a rendition of 'La Sarandunga' from Baní in the country’s southwest.
'La Sarandunga' is a centuries-old Afro-Dominican celebration that takes place yearly on June 23, 24 and 29 in devotion to Saint John the Baptist.
Yasser Tejeda & Palotré's exciting arrangement of 'Sarandunga' songs is a tribute to everyone that has kept this tradition alive.
