Hi Kim, I'm so glad this video helped you out making our beautiful wreath. Take care. 😊
I love it!! It is soooo thick and beautiful! I also love how you tripled it! Sometimes I am scared that it is not thick enough and fluffy enough and that is the best trick!!! Triple it!!!
Once again a very successful tutorial!!! No cut No glue!!! Perfection!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks so much Soozie!!!! I loved how these turned out as well and I was blown away by the triple layer too. I think my next is going to be a triple multi coloured one....maybe for Easter or Spring...or BOTH...HAHA...
You really simplify wreath making. Thank you Dave.
Hi Deborah..thank you so much for watching and for leaving such a kind comment. I appreciate it.
Love both those methods

Hi Aida. Thank you so much for that lovely comment. I appreciate it. Take care.

Hi Sharon. I'm so glad you liked the wreaths and video. Thank you so much. The ruffle method is really nice. Take care. 😊
Ty so much for sharing ur 2 tutorials..love them and following u too.
Easy and beautiful!
Both methods are so beautiful & so full!! Just a question: the green measuring device you used, where did you buy that & what do you call it?? Thank you!
The color is beautiful
Love your method. I’m going to give them both a try with three different colors. Thankyou!
You are very good you explain everything at a nice speed Your voice is nice it’s clear Thankyou so much Can’t wait to see more❤️
Thank you so much Virginia. I appreciate it and happy to hear you enjoy my videos. Take care.
Just found your site I love it just love it. You show the 6" deco mesh wreaths. I have so much 6" mesh I didnt know what to do with. Keep these coming. Thanks
Oh I'm so glad you found my channel!!! That's great!!! And yes, I love working with the 6" deco mesh indeed. Keep checking cuz I have a couple of Easter wreaths coming up using it. Thanks!!!
I have so much also and was upset that in 2020 I learned and started to make wreaths during the COVID-19 shutdown. I purchased so much for the fall and Christmas season because that was my therapy. Now I won't waste my money. I just ran across this today . Thanks Dave.
I've enjoyed your instructions for such a great variety of methods. However, at the beginning, can you please say how many materials are needed for the wreath you are making? Thank you!
Hi there, thanks so much for watching and for your feedback. This is an older video, my newer ones have the materials list in the description box and at the beginning. 😊😊😊
Great tutorial. I really appreciate how you explain the steps. Simple and easy to understand. How many rolls of 6 inch deco mesh did you end up needing for both ways?
Hi there, thank you so much!!! I used six rolls of the DT deco mesh for each method. Take care.
I love it . Now I would love To see you do it with three colors and I want to see what it look like
Thank you so much. In one of my past videos, I did do a three coloured bubble method wreath. It's the Easter bunny one. :)
Hi Dave. I am so happy to have this video so I can attempt to make a cute Halloween wreath with some black deco mesh. Thank you for this wonderful tutorial. You make it easy to follow! I can now quit procrastinating and get to it! Thanks again. I’m so happy I found your channel. Cheers! ❤😊
Hi Lori, thank you so much!!! I'm so glad it helped you stop procrastinating making wreaths. YAY!! LOL. Happy wreath making 😊😊😊
@@DavesWreaths UPDATE: I created the most glorious Halloween wreath base using your bubble technique. I stacked black, white and purple deco mesh to form the bubbles and then fluffed by separating the colors differently each time… so like black on inside and purple on outside on one bubble, then purple on inside and black on outside on the next. It is absolutely wonderful and it is all thanks to YOU, sir! I am no longer afraid of the process and will look forward to crafting a bubble wreath for Christmas! This girl is so happy. Thank you again. ❤️👏🏻😃
I really enjoy watching all your videos..I learn and like to make lots of color wreaths for the Holidays...
Hi Sofia...I'm so glad you are learning from my videos. That made my day. Thank you!!! 😊😊😊
Thanks for sharing! I’m new to wreath making😊 I really like the bubble method for me to get started 😍
Hi Shebah, thank you so much for watching and your comment. Welcome to the world of wreath making, beware, you'll become addicted after your first wreath...LOL...I know I was. I'm so happy to hear you'll be starting your wreath making journey and the bubble method is a great place to start. Have fun and enjoy. 🙂
Love these ideas and no cutting perfect❤️
Thank you and I’m so glad you liked it...I agree no cutting is perfect!!! 😆😀😊
Hi Dave, you make it look so easy, you're a great teacher. This will be my first time using deco mesh. I have 10 in. rolls so I'm not sure how many bundles to use for each section.
Hi there, thank you so much, I appreciate your kind comment. Welcome to the world of wreath making. Generally, when I'm trying something new, I just test it out first. I haven't used these methods with 10" deco mesh yet, but that's on my "to do" list. HAHA. I would say to use as much as you feel suits your personal style. If you want it to be a very dense wreath, then you will use more mesh, if you wish it to be less dense, then you can use more. Start with one section and see how you like it. Generally, I tend to use 2 rolls of the 10" deco mesh for a wreath (if it's the 10 yard rolls). I hope that helped.
Binge Watching, so happy!
You are so blessed and I thank you so much for sharing your blessing and helping a a little person like me I've been trying and trying and trying and I think I might have it blessings to you always keep doing it Dave's way.
Hi Dave Love this. What I do with those little rough nubs is put a little bead of hot glue over them, This way it does not snag the mesh as you are pulling or pushing it through. Love your videos. Keep them coming!
Hi Carol...thank you so much and thank you for that amazing tip for that!!! 😊😊😊
Dave, I LOVE your videos! Keep up the good work. Because of you I have become so proficient in wreath making. Thank you!!
Hi Catherine...omg, you totally made my week with this comment. THANK YOU so much for saying that. AND I'm super excited to hear about your proficiency in wreath making. YAY!!!! That's what I love hearing. Take care and happy wreath making!!! 🥰
Hi Dave, I love your use of the 6 in. mesh. I'm a beginner. So easy to understand.
Hi Mary. I'm so glad you liked it. And thank you for watching and leaving such a kind comment.
Thank you for this video! I’ve been struggling to make wreaths for years and this makes so much sense! Happy wreath making!
Hi Lydia...I hope the videos here on my channel help you out making your wreaths. Have fun with it. Thank you so much for watching and for the lovely comment. Take care.
Very pretty and easy to make
Thank You for sharing this. I made a bubble wreath with 21" mesh, but I think the way you did it with the 6" mesh looks better. Another must try. Thanks again for sharing.
Hi Sabrina...Thank you so much for watching and for your amazing comment. I have done both the 6" and the 21" for the bubble method...so easy to do and fun. Yes, give it a try too. Let me know how they turn out.
Hi Dave, I enjoy watching your channel. You make it easy to watch and learn.
Hi Kathleen...thank you so much for the wonderful comment. I am so glad you are enjoying my channel. Take care and thanks again.
I saw the 8in. width, but how many yards do you use for these projects?? 6 yards, 9 yards, more?
Hi there, I used 6 rolls of the Dollar Tree deco mesh for each wreath. I believe each roll is approx. 5yds. Thank you. 😊
I love the first one however, can you use other types of material ribbon?
Hi Tonja, yes you could use different types of materials for this technique. I would just make sure it's at least 5" wide. Thanks so much.
It's beautiful ! I just wonder what you use on the ends to prevent reveling or fraying?
Hi Connie. Thanks so much. Personally, I don't do anything at the ends, just tie them to the frame and cut them short. I have heard some use a burning tool to cut it and that seals the mesh and reduces the amount of fraying considerably. I have also heard of people using hairspray, I have not tried this method, I've only heard about it and some say it works well. Although, I would be worried about discolouration. Hope that helps a bit. Take care. 🙂
@@DavesWreaths Thank you so very much for your reply. I really appreciate it and your wonderful tutorial.
Nice and easy to follow. Have to make a trip to dollar general after vaccine.hope that is soon. Thanks again.
Rewatching you tonight. As always I like the. Way you explain how to do the wreath.
But could you please tell me how many rolls of the 6incj
You used in project 1 and 2.
Help thus old dog learn new tricks or so I mean how much I need to buy. Thank you.
Hi Brenda...yes, you are correct. I used six rolls of the deco mesh for each wreath. Thank you so much.
Great video. Extremely clear.
Would you tell me how many rolls of mesh were used for the second method?
Hi there Kara, thank you so much. I used six rolls of the Dollar Tree mesh to make the second wreath. Hope that helps.
How many skeins of deco mesh did you use. Love this tutorial. Great job.
Hi Barbara...thank you so much for watching and leaving a comment. For both of these methods I used 6 rolls of the deco mesh. You could get away with five rolls as well, it will just be a little less full then the ones I showed in the video. Hope that helps. Have a good day. 🙂
Want to try the 2nd method
Your videos are so helpful. Im new at making wreaths and i have to say yours are my favorite for the ruffle wreath you use 6 rolls but what if your wanted to use difderent color like i have 2 white 2 light purple and 2 dark purple. Or in your expert opinion do you thibk that would be to much or to difficult should i sti k to the same? Also can you add ribbon to that wreath with out the pipe cleaner sticking out would you just attach some at a cross section. Or the end of a roll? Thank you again for being super awesome and step by step
Hi Sera...thank you so much for leaving such a great comment. You can use as many different colours as you like. There is no rule on wreath making, it's your creation, you do what you like to do. You can attach a bow at the cross section if you want, that is totally good. I'm so glad you liked the video and the step by step instructions. Take care.
Oh Dave! You always amaze me! Question for you. I sent my husband for deco mesh before Christmas and he came home with 21 inch. I'm a total wreath newbie and have no idea how to use the 21 inch instead of 6 inch. Can you offer any suggestions? I love to do something Valentine since I have lots of red and also red & white stripe. I always enjoy your videos and have many times thought you have a "radio voice" :-)
Thank you so much 😊 what a great compliment. I appreciate that. If you have the 21” mesh you can use the bubble method for making your wreath as well. There is a video on my channel that shows how to make a bubble wreath using the 21” mesh. Hopefully that will help you...thanks again 😊
DAVE, YOU ROCK! Thank you for simplifying things. Everything was simple and clear. I'm excited!
Hi Sukari...Thank you so much for watching and for such a great comment. I'm so glad you are excited.
Dave I am so glad I watched this video. I am new to wreath making and just started my first wreath with the poof wreath method. This method seems to simply things and I am going to try it on my next creation! Will be watching your other videos as well. Thank you!
Hi Marian...that is great. I'm so glad you are starting your journey of wreath making. So much fun. Have a great day. Thank you so much!!!
Love it
Love e it
I yet have not made a wreath.Brought all kinds of stuff her go
I have to of the smallest wire wreath frames.I never Sean anyone use them I DON'T know what size leash to use
Could you lead me on right direction please.
Hi Gloria, thank you so much. I did do a video in the past using the small wreath wire frames from the Dollar Tree. The video is from last Spring I believe. Thanks so much.
How many rolls of deco mesh was used for the ruffle method. I know it was six for the bubble method
Hi there, I used six rolls for each meeting. They are the Dollar Tree deco mesh rolls. Thanks so much 😊
Dave thank you for doing these great videos. I've learned a ton from you!
Thank you so much for watching and for the amazing comment. I’m so happy you have learned from my videos. Thanks again!!! 😊😊😊👍🏻
Loved them both!! I can’t wait to do them both! You were very detailed !Thank you much
Dave..i was asked to teach a class to seniors..i have 10 rolls of 12" wide mesh..what type of wreath could i make with that width? Would ruffles be too big?? Help!
Hi Dianne, personally, I think the ruffle method would be amazing. It would fill up the wreath very nicely. And I do like a full wreath. Hope that helps a bit. Have fun teaching.
How many rolls did you use for the ruffle? Thanks for the easy tutorial.
I used six rolls for the Ruffle method. Thanks for watching and the nice comment. Have fun making your wreaths. 😊
Hi Dave. Thank you for making it simple. On the ruffle method, can you use three colors?
Hi Bonnie. Thank you so much. And yes, you can use three colours for that one. I did make a video on it if you'd care to see what it looks like. Have a great day.
@@DavesWreaths Hi Dave, Yes I would love to see it. I've look through you channel and couldn't find it. Can you guide me there? Have a great night.
How many did you use in the 2nd! Very easy
Hi Marion, for the second one I used six rolls in total of the deco mesh. Thank you. 😊
Hi! Can you use 10 inch mesh with the ruffle method? Thanks! Love your videos!
Thank you so much for the nice comment. I’m glad you are enjoying them. You could use the 10” mesh for the ruffle method. It would make the ruffles a little bigger but I don’t see the harm in that at all. I think it’ll look nice.😊😊
Can you do it with the 10 inch deco mesh
Hi there, I haven't tried this method with 10" deco mesh, but I'm sure it would work. The ruffles would be larger. Thank you. 😊😊😊
`Thank you for your inspiration. New subscriber :)
Hi Dora...thank you so much for watching and for subscribing. I hope I continue to give inspiration in my future videos. Take care and welcome.
@@DavesWreaths I am sure the inspiration you give will make me a better wreath maker. Thank you
I would like to see how you make bows mine are awful
Hi Virginia, thank you so much. I do have some bow tutorials on my channel that you can take a look at how I make mine. Thanks so much.
Have you ever done a square wreath frame. I just found you today.
WOW! Fabulous - I can't wait for the lockdown to be over in Manitoba so I can go buy some forms and mesh. Would it be easier to do the inside row first instead of the outside one on the ruffle one?
I hope it’s over soon too!!! I’m running low on supplies lol. 🤣🤣🤣. Yes you are correct, doing the inner row first is easier...I did it this way as I wanted to make sure I had enough mesh and the outter one uses a little more mesh. 😊
@@DavesWreaths ohhh that IS a good way to do it when supplies are running low.
Question I need to know how to use soft poly mesh please
Hi Willie...I do have a video that shows you how to make a daisy wreath using poly mesh. And a lot of the methods of making a base wreath that are on my channel can be used with poly mesh. Hope that helps.
I did with red, white and blue
👍😊
❤
But why are you doing it with the mesh upside-down?
Hi Pamela, which wreath are you taking about? I'm not sure what you mean by the mesh being upside-down? Thanks.
@@DavesWreaths The bubble method. I've been taught to unroll it the opposite way that you did.
Teacher I think the answer to both of the questions is
#1 6 rolls
#2 6 rolls
Thank you.
Hi Brenda...yes, you get an A!!! All correct answers. You get a gold star. :)
How many rolls of deco-mesh did you use for your second wreath? 😁
Hi Rachel...I used six of the dollar store deco mesh rolls for that wreath. Thank you.
Lose the background music.
Watch him make the bubble wreath and don't worry about his choice of music. Don't be rude
How long would you measure 10 inch mesh?
Hi Candee...It depends what method you are going to do. The ruffle method would be the same length needed, but the ruffles would be longer and it also depends on how dense you want them to be. For the pull through method, you would probably need less as the 10" mesh would fill up faster. It all depends on your personal preference. Hope that helps. Take care. 😃
@@DavesWreaths I have a lot of 10 inch mesh, I always do cruffles & they make my hands hurt after awhile, so I was looking for a way to do something else with 10 inch mesh
This is the easiest way I've seen in awhile. Smart, very smart. I love it thank . Now my Halloween and Christmas wreaths won't take as long,😃😃
Thank you so much Cassandra. I'm so glad you enjoyed this video. Have fun making those wreaths.
