My neighbor, the Rabbi, invited my husband and I, Gentiles, on April 7th to join him and his wife, nearby high school students and some of the Moms on his front lawn for a prayer for the hostages, Walking up the driveway, some
8 x 11 papers flew off the podium stand -towards me. These were the pictures of each of the remaining hostages with prayers-psalms on the back side. The one I caught in the wind was of Shlomi Ziv! And I had been praying for him by name.
I also have been praying for the other hostages though especially Shlomi. I praise God for this miracle!!!! I am elated the other 3 were rescued as well and continue to pray for the rescue of the others.

It’s the same as saying Jesus of Nazareth, wasn’t of Nazareth, He is of everything everywhere. It’s a non-sequitur rationalization. Both are true simultaneously, and neither statement takes away from the other. Until Jesus died, and had been rejected by Israel, the word of God wasn’t preached to the gentiles. Jesus himself said that He came to first save Israel, but once she rejected His salvation, He told the disciples to go forward and preach to the gentiles. We are fortunate to be able to be saved and have a relationship with God. However, we are not the chosen ones. That distinction belongs to the Jewish people. I hear some born again denominations of Christianity getting so caught up and angry over this. Can you articulate a valid reason why you’re choosing to ignore basic historical facts, verified in the Bible? Why you’re creating a divide, rather than bringing your fellow man into the fold? Why you’re acting as though a Christian that says He’s the God of Israel, is against you? Cause honestly, the Holy Spirit inside me is screaming that this is not a view from God, but a deception of Satan’s doing.
I praise our Heavenly Father for the hostages that were rescued & for you wonderful gentleman & the work that you do to hasten our Precious Savior’s return. This is so amazing. It reminded me of Operation Entebbe too. When I saw Noa pleading for her life on the back of that motorcycle, I feared she would never be found alive. What Israel did to rescue those four hostages was amazing and inspiring. I grieve the loss of Chief Inspector Arnon Zmora. I don't like using the word "released" though. Two commanders are mentioned here who died in rescue attempts because they were in the forefront in the lead, one of whom the PM’s older brother. I wonder if there is no light protective advanced gear at this time and age that will protect these brave fighters from injury and death, gear that will shield every part of their bodies except the eyes?
