What do you think of Tom Holland as Nathan Drake? It's a little hard to take him seriously as Nathan Drake for me but I think he did a good job for what it's worth.
@@SShaBazzz look i loved all the games and when i watch devil all the time i was sure Holland could do anyrole even Nate and honestly think Sony want him to give that performance because he was young nate but just watch the post credit scene and tell me that's not drake from the games i have high hopes for the sequel (if it happens)
I feel like the gold also contains references to the games. For example, the shield that Nate wields to protect himself against bullets looks like symbols that can be seen in the first uncharted (as a reference to the legend of El Dorado) and the piece of gold that Sully holds for a brief moment looks like the guardians of Shambhala encountered in the second game.
You failed to realize the golden gun is specifically Eddy Raja's gun from Uncharted 1. I believe that was the movie's only way of telling us that that was Eddy Raja, working for Gabriel Roman as he does in the first game. It's not a reference to the multiplayer modes.
I feel like such an outsider for actually enjoying it and not agreeing on people saying the movie didn’t play or ever saw the Uncharted gameplay. Characters yeah, Movie Nathan is too nice and similar to MCU Peter Parker and Sully acts like a new character than based on Sully, actually really thought Chloe was spot on, but there was a lot of references I understood and missed, I thought they handled them pretty well.
Chloe is not British… her accent is def Australian. She’s Indian descent on her father’s side and her mother is Australian and her VA Claudia Black is Australian.
The games have a fascinating story and definitely worth if not a playthrough to watch a timeline video. But I have played all games except list legacy at least three times and number 1 more. But yeah I loved the movie and can't wait for a sequel. I'd love it if Uncharted became an annual thing like marvel films could you imagine 1 year Tom does a Spidey film the next an Uncharted film, he'd never be out of work ever again.
I saw this movie yesterday and I had absolutely no idea it was about a video game as I’ve never played a video game before. I also had no idea there are any post credit scenes. I thought the only movies that do that are Marvel. I wonder if those scenes are anywhere on UA-cam. I would kinda like to see what I missed.
At the end he mentioned if the creators ever actually played the game and I wanted to say one thing If it was the exact same thing then what would be the point of watching the movie when you can just play the game
True Naughty Dog games fans will know that Nate’s signet ring doesn’t actually get lost in the sands of Ubar. It turns up later in a bank safety deposit box in Seattle…
I think the developers absolutely made this for the Uncharted fans, it was extremely well done and had a lot of the references that us Nathan Drake fans were hoping for.
The movie was ok, not the best but it was entertaining for what it tried to be. Tom was not Drake but he made the character his own which worked. Wahlberg on the other hand was doing a cameo playing 1 of 4 versions of himself. Didn't feel quite like Uncharted is all I'm saying. Felt more like a generic action/adventure Indiana Jones type of movie which again was entertaining but no wow factor, didn't have me excited at all until I saw someone pop in to give the camera wink from the game series.
I noticed almost everything. Though Chloe is actually Australian in the games as it the voice actor. In the film he keeps the zippo as you see his brother use it and give it to him in a flash back at the orphanage.
Hopefully Sony releases more Uncharted Movie deleted scenes, since most of them so far have been really good, e.g The Unreleased Deleted Nate + Chloe kiss scene from CHP 18 of the Movie Novelization + seen by a test audience. Please request Sony to release them or an extended cut.
Potato is the base of the video game you better watch that movie cuz I saw a hidden secret and I saw Jason sticker you better go and see that Jason sticker it's really cool it's when it's when Peter Parker makes a distraction
As a fan it was ok to watch, was I happy with all choices they made no but it was watchable and I didn't feel the need to rant about all of the things they did wrong which I do when adaptations are crap. I'm sure the movie would be viewed a little better if you weren't a fan of the games because they took stuff from all the games it kept throwing me off but some moments I found really nice as a fan.
I think the movie is ok it’s a lot like TWD with the comics and shows these are the uncharted movies and the movies are the movies and the games are the games
Garbage popcorn movie made to capitalize on Spider-Man popularity. Studios have been doing this for years and since this is one of Sony's only filmable IPs, they had to do something with it. Last of Us will suffer the same fate of of a studio afraid to lose. If the next movie doesn't star an old Drake played by Fillion then this franchise can go screw off. I hate franchises because they always fall into the popular opinion trap. Too much to lose, nothing to gain. (Except profits of course.)
Sorry, but who the hell missed the fact that the plane sequence is from the plane sequence in 3. Such lazy content, and also Chloe is not British, how hard is it to distinguish from a British and Australian accent?! They’re incredibly different.
Ioved the movie and i loved all of the games. Excited for future adaptations that will give it a chance to be even more "Uncharted-like"
A full Uncharted movie franchise would be awesome indeed!!
@@ScreenRant Well i don't think so it would be....
Waiting for Elena fisher to appear

as a huge uncharted fan i actually enjoyed the movie. it was fun and entertaining...
How ducking fake are you bitch
Youre the problem with the trend today. It was terrible.
@@Indygenous your the problem with people, the movie was great
Thank you this was a good movie and doesn't deserve a hate
@@Indygenous stfu it was good
As someone who’s played all the games multiple times I actually had a lot of fun with this movie.
There was also the "Kitty Got Wet" sign at the bar early on and the "well, well, well" comment. Both classic lines from the games!
Uncharted is an amazing flick of Tom Holland After No Way Home.
You failed to realize the golden gun is specifically Eddy Raja's gun from Uncharted 1. I believe that was the movie's only way of telling us that that was Eddy Raja, working for Gabriel Roman as he does in the first game. It's not a reference to the multiplayer modes.
Yeah, but Eddy had Desert Eagle. Not a Colt.
As someone that has played every Uncharted game, I enjoyed this movie. The information was good but your commentary was not.
I feel like such an outsider for actually enjoying it and not agreeing on people saying the movie didn’t play or ever saw the Uncharted gameplay. I do feel the same that Tom Holland didn't fit Nathan Drake; but honestly, I liked the movie. I enjoyed it.
Chloe is not British… her accent is def Australian. She’s Indian descent on her father’s side and her mother is Australian and her VA Claudia Black is Australian.
Saw this movie just last weekend and I honestly loved it. I’m not familiar with the video game, but the movie I definitely recommend seeing

Let's remember that the games are like 13 hours long, so try cramming that into a 90 minute movie
What’s your point?
@@CKibbles that it’s not gonna have every single thing that the games have

Chloe's accent is actually meant to be Australian, not British, which is confirmed in the lost legacy game :)
Another Easter egg is the t-shirt Nathan wears at the end. As it's in a game too
"Redshirt Drake" 😆
No not groans it was the laughter and clapping of Uncharted fans.
Yeh I thought that. No one groaned. I found it hilarious
YES!!!! :) And later there was much cheering when the music played as Nate put on the holster.
Really enjoyed your commentary. great job

I liked the movie. I thought it was fun. I never played the games so I had no preconceived expectations.
I loved it, and it's what made me play all the games, I love the series now
I also missed the point of this movies casting
We might have missed 25 things but those who made this movie MISSED EVERYTHING that made Uncharted amazing.
From the choice of actors to ..... .
Lol 😂 agreed 100%
Not the "well, well, well" it's so bad, yet so good
1 thing I'm glad I missed is this movie
Number 18, it's Nate that says 'well, well, well!'
9:32 I didn’t see this scene in the movie btw great movie
it’s an after credit scene, so if u didn’t stay in the theatre then you’re obv not gonna see it😭
I thought him swinging from the lights was a reference to spiderman swinging from a web
I noticed almost everything. Though Chloe is actually Australian in the games as it the voice actor. In the film he keeps the zippo as you see his brother use it and give it to him in a flash back at the orphanage.
#1 the whole movie

Honestly I think the film was great :)
What about detective Pikachu or Sonic? I wouldn't call this the first okay video game movie
Both based on franchises of videogames not actual videogame stories
#1: The movie itself.
Were can i watch this
Potato is the base of the video game you better watch that movie cuz I saw a hidden secret and I saw Jason sticker you better go and see that Jason sticker it's really cool it's when it's when Peter Parker makes a distraction
I should watch it huh
Loved uncharted
Forgot the Ah Crap reference. In the game Nate says it alot
This movie was really good in my opinion
Woah, 2 crazy opinions in the first 20 seconds. First that uncharted was good, and second (and far crazier) that the 90s Mortal Kombat was bad.
Great movie
I love this movie 😍
The movie was really good
Didn’t really think the movie was bad at all.
i'd be okay with a sequel.

What about "Kitty got wet above the bar" at te beggining?
Do you know what zippo lighter tom holland has used as nathan drake in uncharted movie
I haven’t played the games so perhaps I’m wrong but Chole or Sofia’s accent sounded very much Australian not English…
I think the movie is ok it’s a lot like TWD with the comics and shows these are the uncharted movies and the movies are the movies and the games are the games
