- UPDATE 2015 - a new upload with new banks of patches is here:

If anyone else has one of these units, or one like it, maybe there will be a few sound-types of interest to you. In both uploads, as each sample is played, the full set of parameter settings is displayed in the order in which they appear as you move round the dial.
The samples themselves are all pretty simple. I'm having trouble with my left hand, so I didn't push it. My main aim was just to show what each patch sounds like.
I have emailed copies of the original document to several people who asked for it but after a recent virus which destroyed my files, I can now only supply an image-capture taken from Windows Media Player or a document into which I have dropped that image. It's perfectly readable and can be printed - but (of course) not easily edited. If you want a copy, just PM me.
Alan - this obviously took a lot of time to set up and post and I appreciate it very much. You have shown a lot of useful stuff the unit can do. This post plus a few patch stashes I found on line has convinced me not to sell it. Thanks again.
Excelent demonstration. Thanks for sharing. It wa very helpful to me.
Nice ideas. Thank you. I just picked one up. It was a bit of a bugger to figure out even with the manual. They did not explain the serial connections at all on how to do it. Just turn everything off and turn on as you go along up to nine times. But some settings will only let you pick a couple at a time. I liked the Bass and the organ ones the best and also the clean blues. My guitar had such awful tone but so nice to play I had no choice but to buy a processor to fix it up and its not bad I must say. Cheap guitar turns good.
Many thanks for your answer.
Regards from Bernhard

brother pero estos patchs me funcionan con la 606 ?
Hi do you have any settings for the shadows patches?
Regards
A long time ago I saw a fairly accurate 505ii patch for Hank's sound, but can't recall where. I've continued tweaking several of the settings and FX in the table I used for this upload. When I get time I may well upload a new demo - the echo & reverb settings are now better but with the 505 they're very easy to play with. I also have the newer G2Nu which gives you a LOT more flexibility and options - plus the facility to link guitar, G2Nu and computer using the Edit & Share software. Parameters for that Zoom tend to be much more complex and would be VERY difficult to display in a table like the one I used for the 505ii. The G2Nu is very affordable and well worth checking out .... although for general practice I still love the 5050ii when I use it as a battery-powered preamp and earphones. Battery life is excellent ... I'm not sure how long the G2Nu would last if used in that way.
***** Ok Alan, thanks for the reply
+gary foster I did some more research on this theme after another enquiry. Here is a copy of what I sent in case it's still of use:
There are websites which list patches of all sorts for the 505ii. A good one for searching is Zoom 505 Central. Here's a link to the homepage from where you can search through an archive of thousands of settings for all manner of styles and players.
safaricomputers.com/505/searchResults.php?type=browse&page=14&show=30&categoryId=14&keyword=
The setting for Apache etc. are listed as follows. Note that the order of listing may not be in the same sequential order as my table.
Comp -- L7
Dist -- Ry
Gain -- 1
ZNR/Amp -- Off
EQ -- Off
Mod -- d9
Dly/Rev -- d8
Level -- 28
I haven't tested those settings, but they might give you a place to start.
saquen un video del pedal 606 selos agradeceria
Wanted to put Thumbs Up but couldn't.
Eric
Thanks a lot :) but what about F1 to F6 ?
Thanks for your interest.
I left F1 to F6 blank for two reasons ... (1) as spaces for experiments with any new effects, and (2) as spaces into which I could 'bounce' saved effects if I wanted to move them around. If I'd filled all the spaces, I couldn't do either without having to delete something.
Since posting this upload I've pretty well re-written all my favourite effects and when I've time I'll upload a new demo. This will have far fewer effects because some of those I made just weren't being used.
***** Oh I see. I'm still new to these effects and I don't know what these comp limit wah, dist, gain, mod etc. are for and how to use them. Thanks for your reply. I can't wait to see your new demo :)
