I always want to know if the haptic feed back buttons is the same as before, because so many people do not like them. And I always want to know if the slider touch control for temperature and sound volume is still not illuminated. When driving in the dark, that is very unconviently. Can anyone tell me if this is fixed in this version of Cupra Born?
I like the haptic buttons on mine. I mean this thing is blacklisted on journalists reviews, but as an owner, it is just a new experience, not so bad. Do you still use a smartphone like blackberry with touch keypad ?
@@iannispardon4272 I like to actually press a physical button when not looking. To much touch stuff today forcing you to look on a screen or whatnot. Dangerous stuff. Its illegal to fiddle with a phone and drive, but doing so with a screen is fine? Makes no sense to me. Its so easy to brush across these touch button unintentionally and activate it. I've done it several times borrowing ID3s and 4s.

Is it possible to get it with 19" wheels?
Regen paddles on VZ only?
Still drum brakes at the rear, like the id3?
MEB=Rear Drum Brakes=No Maintenane=No Track Racing
If you go round the Nürburgring every weekend, MEB is not for you. For everybody else, no problem.
For the lifetime of the id3 you never need to replace the rear brake. The rear motor is braking with enough force.
Hi Chris, just heard VW will be building a EV golf in the US, in a few years. Good news.
If trump gets his way I think the mysterious Tesla 2 will be the only small option for US buyers.

Still the same terrible haptic touch buttons on the steering wheel I see? If so its disqualified as an option for me.

Same I have had an id.7 (after a Tesla model 3) for about 3 months and the haptic buttons haven't bothered me - or the rear window toggle to be honest
