For the spring and axle you would need to make a hole in the bolt to make the axle go trough, but that includes making the bolt bigger for that hole. Then there would be significant amounts of friction between the bolt and the bolt cover. And you also want to make the axle strong enough so that it is able to support the amount of power it puts on the bolt. You also need the right spring to do it. So it may be possible, and the one in the video might be a little less realistic, it would be really hard to make that idea reliable. Thanks for sharing the idea though :)

Thanks! All i can say is maybe. I am also working on the AK in ldd and i dont have the ruger model anymore. So if i have some spare time, i could start building the ruger again. New pistol is already done. Still need to tweek it a bit tho.
