You line the keyway up with the mating surface of the #1 main cap and the block. As long as your timing dots line up when you install the chain you’re fine
If you set the electric phaser to the extreme left position ( turn it counterclockwise), and then put on the timing chain and try to turn the engine, then the phase regulator has a free play, the camshaft first stands still and only then starts moving. Is this how it should be?

Wheres the timing mark on the crank suppose to be pointed? Is there a mark on the block?

As long as you torque the center bolt before rotating the chain yes. Be sure to perform the ECVVT relearn before starting the vehicle
you didn't time the oil pump balance shafts that's going to have a vibration
I never took the oil pump chain off….
