Wallahi brother, i dont think this ummah has the level of courage and iman like the sahabah ra had. And i believe this is why Allah swt decreed our souls to have been born in the 20th century and not in the 6th century. He knows us better than we know ourselves. Most of the world today wouldnt want to live in the past without medicine. Most of the people today wouldnt want to fight in a battlefield with a sword. Most of the people today will not want to turn against their family members with risk of losing them forever because of the difference in religion. Sahabah were the best people of their day and thats why Allah elevated their status. And may Allah unite us with them in Jannah💚
@@kal_ash_nikov beautiful and excellent comment. Truth in everything you said. Allah knows us indeed better than we know ourselves and in His infinite Knowledge, He decreed that our contribution to society, to the ummah, would be most beneficial and most suited in this century. It is easy to declare as born muslims that were we to be born in that time, we would do this or that! But that is all a result of us being born into a muslim household, with muslims around us and having access to copious amount of knowledge. We do not know how we would react in the time of the Prophet saw, when he saw would come with a message so vastly different from the existing societal norms.
Episode 34 Notes: Change of the Qiblah & The First Instance of Abrogation This occurred in 2AH, just three weeks before the Battle of Badr, and this was the first time that, Allah SWT abrogated a law. From the start of the Prophet SAW’s Prophethood, SAW would pray towards Baitul Maqdis. Even in Makkah, the Prophet SAW would pray towards Jerusalem. SAW achieved this by, praying on the side of the Kabah that faced Jerusalem. But, now the ruling to abrogate this had come in the Sunnah and thus the Qiblah had to be changed. The reason for the change of the Qiblah was due to increasing tension between the Yahud and the Muslims. This was due to the fact that, the Jews had realized that the Prophet SAW was the Prophet, who is prophesised in their texts. But out of arrogance, they refused to accept him. Thus, the Prophet SAW begun telling the Muslims to, not copy the Jews in anything. To this effect the Prophet SAW did sincere dua to Allah SWT, asking for the Qiblah to be changed and this occurred a while later. One day the Prophet SAW prayed Fajar facing Baitul Maqdis and by Zuhur time, the commandments to change the Qiblah had been revealed. Thus the Muslims begun facing Makkah as opposed to Baitul Maqdis when praying. The changing of the Qiblah sent a message to the Yahud, that they are no longer a chosen people. Furthermore, it showed the Arab Mushrik’s that, they are not worthy to be the custodians of the Kabah. Ahl Al Suffah The Prophet SAW built an area within Masjid An Nabawi called “The Suffah” which was used as a shelter to house all the new Muslims who had migrated to Medina. These people were incredibly poor and had no jobs and were thus looked after by the Prophet SAW and the other companions. The people of the Suffah are special since they are seen as being, amongst the elites of the companions, when it came to their piety and knowledge. The Suffah was not only a shelter but, later it also because the first university of Islam. The Suffah was primarily a place of learning and it had residents who were from the Ansar too. The people of The Suffah were so knowledgeable that, Umar RA asked Abu Bakr RA during the Ridda Wars to compile the Qur’an since a large portion of Hufaz had died. These Hufaz were primarily from The Suffah. The Suffah lasted until the Prophet SAW’s demise. Abu Hurairah RA He is from Yemen and came to Medina in 7AH. He is the number one narrator of Hadith because he would spend his time with the Prophet SAW when the Muhajirun RA and Ansar RA couldn’t. Abu Hurairah RA narrated over 5000 Hadith even though he only spent 3 years with the Prophet SAW.
Fun Trivia fact: Zuhur Salaah was the first Salaah that was done facing Makkah as the Qiblah. Fajar Salaah was the final one done facing Baitul Maqdis as the Qiblah. Fun Trivia fact: There are more than a dozen examples of abrogation in the Qur’an. This is the Sunni view and the Shia reject abrogation. Fun Trivia fact: Makkah had been made the holiest land on Earth by Ibrahim AS. But, this ruling only applied to the children of Ismail AS and not the Yahud. Thus the Yahud and Christians were unaware of the significance of Makkah. Fun Trivia fact: Many of the Prophets, like Musa AS, made Hajj to Makkah and we know this via the Prophet SAW. But, these Prophets AS made this Hajj alone. Fun Trivia fact: The Kabah was the first house built for the worship of Allah SWT and the second was Baitul Maqdis, forty years later. Ibrahim AS built the Kabah and either Yaqub AS or Is’haq AS built the second house of worship. Fun Trivia fact: Abrogation isn’t exclusive to Qur’anic Ayahs. The Qur’an can abrogated via The Hadiths and vice versa. The Hanafi’s agree with this view. Fun Trivia fact: The Yahud of Medina knew the Prophet SAW was the Prophet that had been prophesised in their Old Testament. Thus the Prophet SAW was optimistic that they might convert. Fun Trivia fact: According to the Qur’an the Yahud were a chosen people but, not anymore. Fun Trivia fact: It is Sunnah to pray with your shoes on when you are outside. Fun Trivia fact: The Qiblah was changed one or two months before the Battle of Badr. Fun Trivia fact: Islamic classical scholars like Imam Bukhari believed that Salaah is a necessary requirement for being a Muslim. Fun Trivia fact: The Prophet SAW stated in a Hadith that, “whoever abandons the Salaah is a kaafir”. Fun Trivia fact: Abu Hurairah AS was the most famous inhabitant of Ahl Suffah. Fun Trivia fact: Allah SWT in the Quran, has criticized those who withhold knowledge. Fun Trivia fact: The term Sufi comes from the word for wool. Fun Trivia fact: There are Hadith’s that state that Ayahs of the Qur’an have been forgotten by the Sahabah and the Prophet SAW explained that, this is due to Allah SWT taking the Ayahs from them. Fun Trivia fact: The Ahl Al Kitab are still Kafir despite holding a special status. ========================================================== Disclaimer for my Notes of Sheikh Yasir Qadhi’s Seerah of the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam Series: Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh, these are my notes on Sheikh Yasir Qadhi’s Seerah series. The sheihk said 70 prophets went to hajj.In the holy Quran less than 70 prophets name are mentioned. The hadheeth of prophet Muhammad S.A.W. says Allah sent many prophets. My question is there any authentic hadheeth which says 70 prophets went to hajj?
I thought our discussion was focused on academic topics. Why didn't you mention the narrations about Abu Hurairah being a beggar for food and his experiences with Omar bin Khattab, who reportedly kicked him out of the house and did not provide him with accommodation? It is also mentioned that Omar accused Abu Hurairah of stealing money during his time as the governor of Bahrain. Can we discuss these events truthfully without any bias? The Suffa was known for accommodating individuals who were homeless and in need, but it is important to address the realities as they were without sugar-coating.
Whatever the reason was, I believe that Syekh Yaseer did not mention those things not because he wanted to hide it. There could be other reasons, probably he just simply forgot, probably because of time limitation, idk what that was, but I believe it was not because he wanted to hide it. Allah knows best.
I think better word should be revert not convert. As prophet said every child is born with Muslim mean Submission His or her will to one Supreme powers or superpowers creator is Allah.

The sheihk said 70 prophets went to hajj.In the holy Quran less than 70 prophets name are mentioned. The hadheeth of prophet Muhammad S.A.W. says
Allah sent many prophets. My question is there any authentic hadheeth
which says 70 prophets went to hajj?
Aminath Dhiye the answer to your statement is that Christianity turn Jesus into the son of god
There are authentic hadith that say there were about 124,000 Prophets in human history.
My doubt is were there no family for ahle suffah.. I mean wife and kids and all..
They were too poor to support a family. This is who the prophet told to fast if they can't get married.
