I've never seen or heard of this game before in my life but it looks pretty cool. It's crazy how much Warzard (Red Earth) by Capcom looks like this, you can definitely tell they were heavily inspired by this game.

It's a a wonderful feeling to check videos 'mame best of' or others,make a list,download the roms and play on tv or on a real arcade cabinet. I discovered more games with mame and youtube than my childhood with few magazines.. When you just discovered a great old treasure,it's like be a early teen again. I remember when I just play MK on my android phone stuff for the first time..that was magic. I still have that feeling.

I think I can safely say that the highlight for most Gradius players is watching Anne suplex and piledrive the Brain Golem to an aneurysm, all with Poison of Snake in the background. Truly surreal.
Definitely an homage to "Time Bokan" (and its spinoffs) terrible trios, though with the skull motif this trio is definitely modeled after Doronjo, Tonzura, and Boyacky.
