Tnks for all. When I try to project the fret lines to the suface of the fingerboard I always get the following massage: Warning: Not support projecting sketch geometry into same sketch, please change the target sketch or geometry. Can you guess what I am doing wrong? I think I perform the sam steps as you show in the video.
The level of your sketch is most likely at the same height as your body of the fretboard. 2 possible solutions: 1. Lift the sketch with the fretlines so it does not interfere with the body or 2. Hide the sketch when you need to select the body as destination, this way Fustion excludes it from the selection possiblity Hope this helps!
Can you show the cam process for this? when you are in CAM do you use the projected line as a reference? do you use the slot or pocket function in CAM? Thanks!
Sure, take a look at my website, it shows you all the settings for making the frets; you can find it here: www.audiohotshot.nl/routing-the-fretboard-with-fusion360-and-bcnc/ or have a look at my other video here: ua-cam.com/video/WnnXUCbxTII/v-deo.html Hope this helps!
Man! You are like Fusion 360 wizard to me! Thanks to all your videos the learning transition form Solidworks to Fusion 360 was super smooth! Thanks a lot!
You've been a bigger help to me than anybody, and I appreciate it. I went to GitHub, signed up, found your stuff, but have no idea how to install it into Fusion. It is probably a straight deal, but I'm not a computer guy, I'm a luthier/restorer of fine instruments. If you have any in-depth installation advice, or a walkthrough, I am your most eager student. Thanks again!
I've updated the info file on Github and included the location of the correct folder. Simply copy and paste it to the Add-in folder and you should be good to go. Hope this helps!

@@Audiohotshot Yeah, that didn't work
Thanks so much. I have been struggling with tracing fret lines on to the fretboard and the CAM. This helped me push through that.
Once you know it, you'll never forget :-) Have fun!

You’re welcome! I try to document stuff which is not easy to find in YT in regards to f360 and guitar drawing and machining. Glad you find it helpful!
