  • Hello everyone and welcome to a new video!
Two weeks ago, I started re-uploading videos to this channel which I had pending from my trip to the United States a year ago.
Today's video is the very last one from that trip, featuring my ride back to New York from Boston on Amtrak's Northeast Regional Service.
I hope you enjoy this video as well as all the others I've published from this trip. It might be a few months until I'm back uploading over here, but there are some very cool plans ahead. Stay tuned!
    On to the next one!

We are taking this exact train and departure time tomorrow from South Station in Boston to NYC! How fast does this train top out at? 100+?

4:15 - You say that "not all service branches have the exact same route" on the NE Corridor. I beg to differ. I've been riding this route for 20+ years, and it's always followed the same rails, with the same stops between Boston and New York.

I mean, from what I know, technically there are a few different branches, but most of the services do follow the same route, especially between Boston and New York.

Hello! Happy New Year. Could you tell me if on the trip from Boston to New York there are stops where we can get off for a longer period of time, for example 15 minutes to half an hour? Thank you very much. By the way, congratulations on the video. very intuitive

Hey! I’m glad you enjoyed the video and found it useful. There are stops between Boston and NY, but you can’t really get off the train. I mean, you have a ticket with an origin and a destination, and you must respect that. In addition, the train only stops for 1 or 2 minutes. If you want to explore any of the cities in between, I assume the way to do that is by getting separate tickets. However, I’m sure you can contact Amtrak and they will be able to assist you better than me!

Buy the tickets online. The train to Maine is called the Downeaster. Note, though, that it leaves from Boston's NORTH Station, while trains headed south, like the one in this video, leave from South Station.
