That's actually a bad strategy. Apparently taking an enemy combiner limb allows the robot who is the limb to interfere with the combiner's functionality. The Combaticons did it to Superion by sneaking Blast Off onto his leg over Air Raid.
@@Asher_Tye depending on which combiner the alternate limb is from, it could also be a quick replacement, for example, Superion using First Aid as a temporary leg when Sky Dive was out of commission.
Ngl the animation is kinda slow, then again I can’t animate so all I can do is praise the person for making the animation, great job btw, and additional props to all the voice line splicing, judging by voices alone I can tell you had to take lines from the original G1 cartoon, the 86 movie, the live action films, some of the wfc games, and prime (I think), and seeing how vast and long it could’ve took I congratulate you for that. In short congrats on this stopmotion, loved every second of it my guy

Animation is smooth but too slow, everything takes 2 times as long as it should, and the impacts are dull because of a lack of speed. The characters feel stiff and unatural. Punches don't push through they just stop and the person gets knocked back. I would've enjoyed it more if the framerate where higher and there was more ease in ease out

This is really good and the car scenes where really good but idk if you where trying to make the transformations slow like if it’s your style of stop motion but I think you should increase the frame rate on the transformations just a thought
The way Bruticus stole the broken off arm and how Defensor had part of his arm transform to become a shield against the incoming attacks was really cool
