I'm not even a huge fan of the band, but I always loved Mick Mars playing. My ears were always drawn immediately to what he was doing. He brought a lot of funk and swing to them, I thought.
I recently discovered the channel and just want to say you deserve any success you've had here and more. No BS, easily legible tabs, super clean playing, and fun little thematic touches with each video. I wish more UA-camrs went about their videos the way you do!
Agreed. I only recently found this channel and already consider it one of the best resources for guitar knowledge. Top/ridic quality, zero filler, very inspirational.
Often times I don't know which I like more, your exemplary covers or the creativity you invest for each video theme. Fantastic stuff and yet another flawless performance. Well done MT!
Been playing since around 06 and never had an actual lesson. I learned how to read tabs and watched YT videos. You are legit one of the best out there in terms of everything, playing, editing, simplicity, etc. You are now the go to when i want to learn another song. Keep up the good work!
Amazing tabs as usual! Love the 80s/90s songs, other great ones like Lightnin' Strikes Again and Into The Fire would be very cool, basically anything with George Lynch would be awesome! Thank you for the regular tabs!
Mick may be off the road but you will never replace Mick. Have seen so many Crue shows and throughly enjoyed watching his hands as much as hearing his sound.

Shredders and fret wankers take note, the riffs outhere, the solos always melodic within the tune and played for the song not a tuneless charge of the light brigade through the scales, you always remember Mick Mars compositions,so underated,Long live Mick Mars❤❤❤

Motley Crue rules the 80s in your face metal scene and you sir with your 'TABS' knuckle tats rule as a guitar instructor! Nice Crue touch there :) I will be practicing this for far too long now thanks to you :) Keep it up!
Fantastic transcription as always. I love your accuracy and attention to detail. Those 80s arena rock big guitars are awesome and some of the stuff like Reb Beaches solos, Tesla modern day cowboy, DIo holy diver, etc require Way more skill and knowledge to play accurately than the average hobbyist has but obviously this channel Delivers on that really and helps guitar players improve everywhere-it’s awesome.
I (Jason) always enjoy reading your compliments! haha. I'm glad you're enjoying the content man. So great to know that people are learning stuff while being entertained at the same time. Super rewarding!
This is very clean ! The only problem I see is the outro. Mick Mars doesn't play it that way. He plays all the notes on the D and G strings. So it's not A string 14 and D string 14 but D string 9 and G string 9 :)
Vraiment super !
Awesome, nice to see the knuckle tats back! And of course the 80s rock (you already know where this is going). I won front row tickets and backstage passes on the Feelgood tour from a radio station (remember radio call ins and giveaways?). I met Nikki and Tommy (who was only wearing a towel, lol) after the show, they were both very nice and cool. Nikki ended up diving into the crowd early on in the show. When I asked him what was up with that, he said some guy in the audience flipped him off. I remember asking him if he hit him or anything and Nikki said "nah, I didn't want to end up buying him a house." Smart guy, but at the same time dumb guy for putting himself in that situation to begin with. Vince and Mick were no shows. Also met their backup singers, the Nasty Habits, really nice, too (Mick was married to one of them). Great show (Tesla opened up, killer band to do some covers of here), but their Girls Girls Girls tour was better. Mick Mars is really underrated, he really is Motley Crue, IMO. Remember when Motley and Poison were feuding back in the 80s? Everything on this channel always comes back to a CC DeVille connection, it's like you're telegraphing your every move, ultimately signaling your eventual cover of the GOAT, the one, the only, Mr. Cadillac Coupe DeVille himself.
Awesome story man! haha thats quite the reaction to getting flipped off. I think sometimes people do it not meaning any disrespect? I don't know. Must have been so cool to see them at the height of their popularity for sure! Yeah Mick Mars is definitely the soul of Motley Crue for sure. Just waiting until all the sequins are personally stitched one by one into my jacket before I tackle Copo Camaro DeVille!
hi mr tab it's just to tell you that it's an excellent tutorial. But also to say that today I did my best concert in college in all I did 5 but today was the best. I was even able to do an improvisation on this piece of at least a minute and a half. I am very proud of myself and of this concert. otherwise excellent tutorial
Dive with the bar before playing the note, pick the harmonic (or note or whatever applies as this technique is in a lot of songs) while bar depressed, ride the note back up on the bar to pitch. Hope that helps. Sorry if I’m a year late. :)
@@dudebro7698 Yup, but when the bar raises back up to neutral, the note isn't as high as in the video, which makes me think that he has a floating bridge where you can depress the whammy to lower the pitch and also raise the whammy above it's neutral position to raise the pitch - something an EVH Wolfgang can't do.
Mr. Tabs can you do the Girls Girls Girls or Stickly Sweet tutorial please, by the way you do an amazing job and you inspire me to be a better guitar player 🙏🙏🙏⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Mick has some of nastiest, grittiest, punch you in the face riffs/hooks in rock. He made the sound Motley Crue will always be known for.
Yeah for sure. I have to say, this one was very fun to play!
Damn right!!!
🤘
And the great thing is, none of them are all that hard, so people who wanna learn how to play them can pick them up pretty quick!
A totally underrated hook-machine with awesome tone.
Just my opinion, but I feel this is one of the best American rock songs ever written. Sleazy, in your face, and heavy as hell. Love it.
Mick Mars is sooo underrated! One of my favourite guitar players and you are absolutley killing it!! Spot on! Keep up the great work!
Jason Sheppard doing a great job as always. He knows how to get those pitch harmonics perfectly
