Smart but not smart enough. Could’ve taken the scraps to the goat or something. Asking herself if she’s asleep? Ooopsy! 😂 there’s always an idiot in these stories it seems. That is a new one! Usually it’s “love” or still immediately married. Love all the asides! 😂 I wish it was just fairytales where folks are stupid! Great reading as always Elaine! 😊
Hi Kat - agreed about 2 eyes, she almost got away with it, but then I guess she wouldn't have met the Knight. Glad you enjoy the asides, think that part is just my old habit reading to students and discussing what we were reading. Many thanks for the kind words.
@ oh I never had anyone to discuss books with, I just have a habit of calling characters stupid and telling em to off other characters but usually I’m by myself. It’s like these little short stories condense a lot of stupidity that must be commented on to get the whole “book” to fit in under 5 pages 😅
