Bios usb slot is for bios flashback, saw comments below mention it but in flashback mode u can update bios without cpu been detected *some boards require bios update for cpu to be detected*
Why not use the FlashBack feature to update the bios instead of going through the bios itself? Also it might have been a good idea to enable XMP as well. These instructions may benefit new users.
I wanted to demonstrate how to go through the BIOS as not all motherboards have the flashback feature, but I will be making a video on how the flashback feature works. I didn’t enable XMP as that can introduce instability to the system as it is an overclock and produce crashes etc that may make new users think they have something wrong with the system. Since that instability would be at the software/firmware level, it’s not indicative of bad hardware. But I will be covering things to do after you fully complete building the system to address the great points you have!
So, Microsoft fixed the issue with installing Windows 11, so you can install without a Microsoft account or internet, as we were all able to do in Windows 10?, before connecting to the internet???
Definitely the most expensive build I have done in my life, but these steps are good for any build! You can definitely build an amazing PC with less expensive components though! I’ll be doing some more builds on the channel to demonstrate different price ranges!
Hey! I am unsure what happened with your comment, but I can assure I didn’t delete your comment! You mentioned to install a favorite Linux distro and forgo all of the drivers and updates. I very much enjoyed the comment as I love working with Linux! I apologize for the confusion and weirdly disappearing comment :/
@@techtoniksystems What you could do is reply to my comment and delete it, I make a new comment that you reply to and delete it.. We could have a running conversation that no one else could follow! 😂
This guy is a stud!!! Great content really makes me want to build a PC

Also, not all motherboards have a dedicated BIOS USB port - you can use any USB port and make sure you set the boot sequence to USB first.
That is definitely true! Boot sequence is important if you are wanting to boot from USB
