For me when it’s a good day what happens is as the pin has become as steady as possible my mind and vision go to the target only. I am NOT thinking anything about the release. I have already began that last amount of pulling back . It’s at that last microsecond, with total focus n the spot, the pin will be moving to the center of the spot I want to hit and the shot breaks automatically. No conscious thought to tell my release hand/fingers to fire. At closer shots like 20 yards I can actually see where the pin was and where it was headed to. The shot breaks nearly every time when th3 pin has reached a 7 o’clock position in its float pattern. I am left handed so apparently the minute last amount of forward bow pressure brings the pin to center as the shot breaks. People need to learn to trust in their NATURAL float pattern. And NEVER EVER force the bow or the release to do anything. Just pull thru and let it happen.

100% on all of that! That's the hardest part of archery but the easiest and most consistent way to shoot by far.

Love the part about relaxing…that’s been a really big issue for me during tournaments. As the anxiety builds the more tense I get. Definitely a place for me to focus on

It's hard to relax in a tournament! The more relaxed you can get though the better for sure.
