This has serious Matrix vibes. Shigaraki is Smith and Deku is Neo. Maybe Deku allows Shigaraki to take quirks so the vestiges destroy Shigaraki from the inside, like Neo letting himself being absorbed by Smith in order to destroy him.
Yeah, I think we are getting set up for a Shiggy absorbing too much power ending. I am not sure about the deku/neo comparison, but shiggy and smith are both analogous to fallen angels at this point being the embodiment of a concept.
I was thinking similar, he takes all of OFA, the vestiges destroy him from the inside and Deku ends the anime how he started it, quirkless. Edit: It would also balance it all out since OFA and AFO have had this power struggle, now AFO is gone (shiggy about to join too) it'd kind of make sense that OFA is gone somehow.
Man bakugo beating all for one is really good. I'm super happy about the way they ended this. Now bakugo could forgive himself for letting himself get captured all those months ago
Interesting. The 4th user was able to prevent Deku from being decayed, by cutting Shiggy’s fingers off, but he wasn’t able to stop himself from being stolen or destroyed. Deku is at a major disadvantage. I don’t like the idea off him ending up quirkless, the kid worked too hard.
Bold Prediction: the "Chekhov's gun" of Toga being able to "attack" Izuku without malice will come up because it's already been established that Izuku wants to save Tenko.

That's probably what will make Shigaraki realise that deku doesn't hate him.
I believe One For All’s failsafe is more like a core protected by multiple layers, the reason that AFO was unable to steal it was because of trying to get the entire thing in one try rather than taking away each layer first. As for where the fight seems to be heading, I think each extra quirk will be stolen from Deku, forcing him to fight just like pre-black whip times and All-might’s incomplete vessel will end up being the perfect defense for the core quirk since it can’t be stolen like the others. It will basically end up in an endurance battle until the stolen vessels do something from inside the vestige world.
Shigaraki prior to awakening coulda always just *take it* , that was one of the primary reasons for AFO creating him (to have a body with the power to take OFA)
He tries during the fight where Gran Torino is injured…..it’s just at that time you had Shiggy fighting vestige AFO for control, which gave the OFA vestiges a chance of escape
Now it’s just Shiggy in the body, with no inside influences to go against

He hates the other users, but if he hated the quirk itself then he’ll hate his brother by extension, but to him there’s no reason to hate the very first thing he ever received in this world.
This makes completely no sense. How can you steal a quick that's part of another quirk? Shigaraki is already overpowered enough. Just let them fight it out, 100% OFA vs. 100% AFO. I have a feeling the series is gonna end on some power of friendship BS.

I think the reason AFO couldn't steal OFA was because he was trying to take it all at once. Shigi's seen the vestiges before, and he's trying to take them one at a time.

Still I don't think he's gone for good. Not entirely and I feel like his interruption in the future chapters will help deku defeat shigaraki. Only reason I said not entirely is because of the embers All Might held onto. Afo could be doing the same deep down in shigaraki waiting for an opening. Pure theory though.

AFO quirk factor likely will have those in it refusing to allow their quirks to be used which will allow Shiggy to be defeated. Remember 2 of the users of OFA didnt allow Deku access to their abilities. Its very likely that the same can be said when they are in him. And just like Hawks rallied the troops inside Shiggy or S&S destroying from the inside I can see that happening aswell

I still don't think AFO gave Shigaraki decay, I think that once he found Nana's family, he went to kill them but when he met Tenko, he sensed that quirk in him already and that's when he decided the best revenge against Nana would be to twist an already emotionally beaten and desperate Tenko until that breaking point. I also think that even if AFO had taken Shigaraki's body, he still wouldn't ba able to take OFA, because the built in protections are specifically for him, built by his brother's desire to deny him. It would be Shigaraki's body but still AfO's consciousness so I think he still wouldn't be able to take it
It’s honestly such a huge missed opportunity to not have Stain’s vestige say anything to All for One as the vestiges rebel. He could’ve had a “told you so” moment about the ‘bigger process’ thing he was talking about before he died

i kinda want all for ones quirks to come back to people, then deku to get a surprise quirk at the end. some pyromancer quirk powered up by one for all.

Most of the heroes can't fight, Bakugo is unconscious, his danger sense just got stolen, Toga giving ururaka her blood is a massive price as she's basically killing herself, Deku has to wear his mask so he can breathe properly otherwise the effects of gearshift will worsen him. Gearshift itself is a consequence. What manga are you reading?

Exactly. It should have ended in the dark deku arc. Deku would beat class A and continue to find AFO/shiggy.
Once deku DOES find them he loses, but it’s ok because the top 3 heroes, all might, class A and star and stripes save him. In the end Shigaraki wins killing AFO, All might and star (specifically in that order) then recuperates. End the series up in the air.
The second series would have an in universe time skip of 1-2 years (class 3-A). Horikoshi could then have a few year long break or pass it to someone else.

@@primedarkking10 I genuinely thought that was were Horikoshi was going to go. Most of my points were from story points he was building up. Star and stripes was an abrupt turn that went nowhere. In hindsight I’m assuming beating shigaraki is an internal matter (vestiges) as shown with the fight between Star.

I also think to piggy back off your theory of tenko being brought out, i think that will also be AFOs way of coming back and still being that final villian.
Almost similar to the way orochimaru could come back even after we thought he was dead thru the curse mark.
So in essence talk no jutsuing tenko out will still have AFO as a quirk factor who could at that point take over the body of shigaraki looses the level of hatred to keep control over the quirk itself .

Deku has multiple quirks. Nine said that himself. Its cannon too. Deku has 6 quirk. + plus ofa power
Exactly. Even if it was considered just one quirk with the others being a “part” of it. What does that matter? There’s been no statement that parts can’t be separated but people just headcanon that it has to stay as a whole
If that was the case shigaraki shouldnt have all the original quirks in all for one and it should’ve just been the base quirk for him to start from scratch. But since he got all of them, and the vestiges are inside of AFO, that means all those quirks are a “part” of AFO, yet he can still give them away without giving the whole quirk away

I like the way All for One does, not just due to everyone's efforts and Bakugo, but be sure he LITERALLY did this to himself. His plans upon plans sealed his fate, and rather than going out in glory, he goes out in a whimper.

Idk why but it sounds like this fight is going to end with Deku being essentially quirkless, but he'll end up defeating Shigaraki by "saving" (talk no jutsu) Tenko. Having the final message is that you don't need powers in order to save someone, which is what causes him to be "The Greatest Hero"

I think AfO's death was worse for him and more fitting this way than if he died another gruesome death. He already died that way when All Might beat him, and although it hindered him, it didn't make him lose hope because his plans where still under way. This time All for One was finally able to feel despair, knowing that he could never see his dreams be fulfilled, and he's completely overwhelmed by it.
I believe deku will have the ability to give one for alll to his comrades like how he did with bakugo in the movie.
And i think it will be a 2 way thing giving deku the access to their quirks too.
Almost in a way that Naruto shared kurama chakra but more like how if u seen black clover asta/licht sword has an ability to use his allies abilities .
I think it's possible if he'll have slots available if shiggy can take quirk factors within OFA
it’s what I’ve been saying sense the start because of the names. All For One basically saying uses the quirk for oneself, while One For All is basically saying use to give ones quick to others.

Honestly, in my opinion, if the vestige of AFO really is still coming back, and the "truth" of him giving Tenko the Decay quirk is revealed, what's the point? AFO ultimately proved to be the weaker consciousness, his plan has completely failed, he'll never be able to reach his goals, because his real body is dead, therefore his dreams in the end are dead. He has no real reason, or purpose to keep fighting anymore. It's over for him regardless, so both his return, and the reveal, would be pointless for him at this point. Plus, Shigaraki already knows that AFO groomed him from the beginning. Knowing AFO gave him Decay won't change any of that mindset, the hatred for him for grooming him, but grateful he gave him this strength, would probably just get stronger.
However, I do agree that we are definitely getting more with the AFO vestige world, with the OFA Users. Maybe he takes them all one by one, and we may even get Yoichi and the AFO vestige, referencing when Yoichi believed there was a bit of good in him.
That's my theory at least.
I think Shig actually does still OFA and all its quirks but it’ll definitely be to much for him to handle plus the vestiges of OFA will prove to much for him…Deku may in fact go back to being quirkless but because of this fight he reached AM status idk

The extra quirks themselves were stated as just being tools for Izuku. They aren't the main part of his quirk. This is probably happening to force Izuku to learn to tap into the true 100% OFA and fully master it instead of relying on the bootleg 100% he's been using for awhile now thanks to the extra quirks.

We need to wait for the next chapter to truly understand what happened with Shiharaki and Izuku

I am by no means saying that this will happen but i think it could potentially be cool if executed right so hear me out, what if as shigaraki is stealing the vestiges of one for all the vestiges are as they are being stolen are stealing small amounts of the All for One quirk so the final fight completely flips the script and becomes Shigaraki with One for All versus Deku with All for One.
That makes 2 major anime villains that reverted to a baby and dissipated. (Probably more out there)🤷♂️
If Deku doesn’t defeat him I’ll be very disappointed. I’m already disappointed in how this anime / manga is going but maybe it’ll get better

Pretty interesting that this chapter called attention to the fact that all the stolen quirks inside All For One don’t go back to the previous wielders even after AFO(the quirk) is destroyed, and in the same chapter Danger Sense is stolen. I don’t think Danger Sense or any other quirks Shigiraki might steal will be gotten back based on this. I hope All For One’s vestige comes back for Shigiraki to still resist or defeat. I also hope the fact Danger Sense operates on malice is brought back up and helps Deku fight him, as it’d justify a lot of how the story has played out and help with Deku’s characters and MHA’s particular themes.

Read the chapters again where he tries the first time and when they explained it. We learned that he couldn’t steal it because *he wasn’t at 100* not *just* because of the wills. They’ve been saying the whole time that shigaraki at 100 should be able to overpower their will. You can’t selectively choose details while ignoring others

Which is canon, nine couldn’t steal it because there were “too many”. One for all *stores* the quirks because of stockpile. But there’s still 6 other quirk factors beyond the original. Even the vestiges say that they are different quirks. They are part of it but it was never said that they couldn’t be taken unless their will could be overpowered. You’re speaking headcanon

I feel All For One is not actually dead he'll probably come back in Shigaraki body or something he's one clever motherfuker who has a contingency plan for everything. Not to mention I feel Shigaraki will eventually redeem himself.

Hey, we still have AFO's conciseness in Shigaraki, soooooo it could be possible that we have Vestige world revelations like - AFO being Deku's dad and/or AFO being the one giving Decay to Shigaraki. Anyway, I see the final battle being in the vestige world full out brawl OOOR Deku sharing OFA bit by bit to others with aspects of the other (remaining) vestiges like - Iida with Gearshift or Ochako with Blackwhip or Mirio with OFA strength etc. Come on, I can't be the only one, right?

There are people in the comments pissed about a quirk being stolen from Deku due to it being "a part of OfA". The quirk is stored within OfA, but it doesnt mean it's all just one quirk. Also, Shigaraki's hatred has already been stated numerous times to be enough to steal One for All, so him stealing a singular quirk after touching Deku for a moment shouldn't be seen as coming out of nowhere.
