What are stereotypes and prejudices? A talk about how racial discriminations impacts love, work, public and private spaces. Writer Nadeesha Uyangoda explains what does it mean to be the only black person in the room when you live in a racialized society. Nadeesha Uyangoda is a freelance writer based in Milan. Her work focuses on identity, race and second generations. Her stories have appeared in Al Jazeera English, The Telegraph, Vice Italy among others. Her first book, L’unica persona nera nella stanza, is published by 66thand2nd. In April 2020 she created the podcast Sulla Razza, powered by Juventus FC.
