Season 1 was animated by Madhouse Studio. This fight scene is probably done by Yutaka Nakamura, one of the very best fight scenes animator. Whenever I see cubes of flying debris, I know it is his.

for some reason, most foreigner didn't get the Japanese humor/jokes perfectly.. I realize it by watching some reaction from Europe, US and Australia.. only those who already watch anime for a long time who can understand the jokes.. I think people like that can't really understand the jokes in Gintama too..
Best thing about Saitima is it seems like everyone that crosses his path ends up changing their life or having an a bigger insight on life in general, its super cool
Saitama's power IS a meme but there's actually a little more to it. And this is just theories and I'm not going to deepen much into it so don't you worry about spoilers but maybe the key is not how much work 100 pushups and squats etc is but the perseverance to keep doing it every day without a break. Remember this is a world where a man became a monster crab of how many crabs he ate in episode 1. I leave it there. Great reaction as always btw.
After watching dozens of reactions I feel like I'm in the minority who caught the detail about the sale at the beginning of the episode and immediately started laughing at the shock on Saitama's face the moment Carnage's speech mentions 'Saturday".
As someone who has been following OPM (it was a webcomic made as a hobby) before it became a manga and then one of the biggest anime ever, without spoilers, Saitama’s words are actually pretty spot on regarding how he became this strong. The whole thing about humans being able to change and all.
@@ahmedmakki3638 Not sure if he's really who you think the OP meant because I'm almost certain the OP meant someone else. But now that you've made me Google the VA of Atomic Samurai, I find it interesting to know some characters he voiced and will now be waiting to hear Atomic Samurai's voice.
The whole point behind his training monologue was that he's explaining how he pushed himself to his limit in every capacity every day and then kept pushing even farther past that, eventually "breaking" his own limits as a human and that resulted in him having limitless power. It's more of a "what if" situation, implying that if someone in that universe has the will, drive, and determination to truly push themselves beyond the edge, they could become just has strong as him, and that's what makes him special, is he's the only one to have the strength to do that.

I love how Genos' role is basically to be the super OP and super cool sidekick, who ends up doing nothing to the bad guys so when Saitama eventually punches them it feels much stronger.
11:07 BTW if u didn't notice, he didn't use the ac / room heater in all seasons to cut the costs but made it as an excuse that he was training. A small thing that many might miss but it's hilarious looking back at it. Also, contrary to other superheroes and shonen protagonists, Saitama's powers were never meant to make sense. The story is all about "He has limitless power , don't ask how, but somehow the story will still miraculously move on even if he is already that strong". Think of Saitama's powers as toon force with no logic maybe (Although, the manga writer did make this same scientist, Dr.Genus of the House of Evolution, to mention a potential reason for his powers, but even that was like a jab at the general shonen tropes and it was hilarious). As always, loved ur reaction and I am sure u will love the next episodes.
Saitama's training is a joke, but it's also canonically very important, like you said, it's not about the amount of training, there is something important that needs to happen for Saitama to grow this strong, but it's spoiler territory :P
This is one of the only shows where its really not about the main characters but more about the side characters and villains. To their backstory how they got to be the bad guys and everything is pretty interesting and i have never seen a show which mainly focuses on the villains.
To put it mildly. This entire show is animated by the absolute All Stars of every single area of animation. Everything from effect animation to character animations has had their god level animator brought in as a favor to the director. Theres a documentary about this team of absolute savages if you guys want to react to that too!
great reaction but im honestly suprised how people say its not hard to do, because where the hard part comes in is to to it every single day so maybe the lesson of the show is to tell people that even stuff that seems easy can be really hard to do all of the time. i do think 10 KM run a day is alot tho :D
It's about an hour or so of jogging. That's not nothing sure, but nothing that'll be too burdensome if you ease into it. Now if you were trying to run a 10km race every day, that'd be a wholly different story but I don't think that's what he did.

@@hannessteffenhagen61 nono not an hour maybe like 20-30 mins jogging but sure so you say 1 hour everyday of fast jogging i still think thats alot but i see its kinda doable yea
@@RakusTalent 10km/h is not particularly fast. That's just double regular walking speed. I find it pretty hard to intentionally go significantly much slower than that without actually starting to walk. You can go slower of course, especially if you're just starting to train or you're very short, or just want to take it easy for some other reason (which is all perfectly valid), but 6 minutes per km (~10 minutes per mile in American) isn't fast at all. Race pace is more than 50% more than that (double or more for elite athletes).
In the OPM world, people's obsessions and personalities give them powers. If they have a very dark obsession, they turn into monsters. Saitama's obsession was to become the strongest hero, although it's a bit more complicated than that. Since Saitama had a very shallow idea of what a hero is, all his obsession translated into, as far as I can tell, was something like the spirit of wrathful defiance, effectively giving him infinite power that allows him to defy everyone else's power by simply being the strongest. Unfortunately, now he's starting to realize the implications of his obsession - he is simply too strong and, because of that, what he initially wished for (being able to defeat anything) is no longer a source of meaning and fulfilment that he was hoping for. This anime/manga is actually genius because you're going to see how Saitama evolves as a character and learns about what being a hero actually means by creating new bonds. It's a brilliant way to make an OP character interesting.
The main idea of this show is that you will create your own reality with your your wishes and how you perceive the world. Remember the first episode a guy eats too much crab and becomes a crab man. An in this episode Saitama gives up searching for a job and start pursuing his childhood dream becoming a hero. They will also tell this in the following episodes if you want to become a monster you should repeat sinister deeds. So apart from being a comedy show and hero parody there is a philosophical message beneath the story.
This is, for me, the best episode in the entire series. The reveal that he's having problems because of the _sale_ is just... epic. You can only do that sort of thing _once,_ and this was it. Enjoy the rest of the series, though, it's _still_ awesome!

11:23 , in season 3 , maybe you gonna have your response of the reason why Saitama is so strong but it's again a hypothetic reason. He's too strong , this guy is unbelievable.
I know that this isn’t a very serious anime, but I personally think there is something more to Saitama and that House of Evolution scientist. Iirc, in Saitama’s backstory where he fought the crab guy, he specifically states that he wants to be the kind of hero that can defeat any villain with one punch. He proceeds to kill the crab monster, and gets this shine in his eyes. In this episode, during the scientist’s backstory, he gets frustrated that everyone is so unsupportive of his research. It then does a close-up, and his eyes do the same shining thing that Saitama’s did. Immediately after that we see that he accomplishes his goal, similar to what happened to Saitama.
There is more to it the fact is in manga the doctor genus explained the real reason for his strength and why people are turning into monster's like crablante the best way to experience one punch man is by reading manga.
Notice how the bad guys in the first episodes were very powerful, but nobody ever knew that, because everybody escaped and Saitama killed in one hit. Also Genos seems strong, not strong enough for Saitama tho
Funny thing is I saw a fitness guy go yeah this fitness routine will get you looking pretty buff, people have even done the training regime and it got them really toned. The only thing he said was start off at say 10 of everything and a 1km run and build up to it and let your body adjust. Sitama is pretty awesome I really like this anime there has been a huge gap after second season and they have only recently announced a third season
From here, the World of this Series will finally expand, you learn more about it as you go. Also, about Saitama’s backstory, both of your thoughts about it are correct, you’ll learn eventually.
Carlie's hair always looks cute but it looks different today, very pretty. ( ˶˙ᵕ˙˶ ) I'll never get tired of poor Saitama wanting a good fight and just obliterating everything. (* ᴗ ᴗ)
Love your reaction😊 This anime is different. Watching this, forget about all the anime you've watched before. 😄 By the way, saitamas training is hard coz its 3 years without day off.
I love that every single person who watches one punch man is right there along with Genos, Kabuto and Genus in that no one believes that his workout regiment is what gave him his strength and always come up with other theories, like in this world your obsession gives you power like the crab guy, or he became something like god in this world or any other kind of theory; all while missing the point in the story. One Punch man is essentially a satire of shonen anime, and in every shonen anime the protagonist goes through some sort of special secret training that: only they can do, is an ancient secret technique, experimental and never tried before, etc. no... just.... no, Saitama got strong doing mundane training and that's it because that's what the author is satirizing. At its core, One Punch Man is a gag manga, where logic doesn't really follow rules and if anything is closer to toon logic than anything else.
from what i heard, is that its because saitama just believed really hard that he wanted to be a strong hero, so he ended up becoming THE strongest person in the univerese. idk if its true its just what i heard. i believe it to be true tho
Siatama actually broke his limiter. In the world of one punch man, humans have limiters, the training he went through was more than what he can normally endure, (though in the big picture it's not really difficult), however it was way beyond his limit. But due to the fact that he endured to the end he broke his limiter; which in turn makes him stronger the more strong opponents he faces. And now he has gotten to the point where most people are way too week compared to himself they're literally like ant's. As the story progress he'll meet opponents that he couldn't defeat with one punch. So far there are two, borus and garo. However the anime is yet to catch up with garo's fight, but it'll in season 3 but if you're impatient you can follow up with the manga. I T W A S 🔥 A T O M I C 🔥
what is so hard to get Sensei Saitama has achieve Nirvana he is one with the universe. And he is bald so he must be Budai , AkA = Future Buddha , the only flaw to this logic is that budai is depict as very chubby with a belly that can contain all emotions and misery of the world.
The reason Saitama is so strong is because he literally broke his body with that training. It doesn't sound like much but he did it Every, Single, Day. He didn't give his body any time to heal but he kept willing himself through it. So his body 'Broke its Limit' to keep up with him and not break down completely. There is a bit more to this explanation but that would be spoilers. But yes, he got that strong by only doing that lol

Also, about Saitama’s backstory, both of your thoughts about it are correct, you’ll learn eventually.
Carlie's hair always looks cute but it looks different today, very pretty. ( ˶˙ᵕ˙˶ )
I'll never get tired of poor Saitama wanting a good fight and just obliterating everything. (* ᴗ ᴗ)
15:00 Nooooooo😭
The secret to his power is in episode 1. You can figure it out if you pay attention.
Carnage looks like a dung beetle. Take in consideration that ONE made this as a giggle for how most comics have their hero.
Love your reaction😊
This anime is different. Watching this, forget about all the anime you've watched before. 😄 By the way, saitamas training is hard coz its 3 years without day off.
Love ur videos!💞
Waiting for Episode 9 ❤
This show only works because the art is killer
wow the afro is very funny, nice reaction guys
no transformation or genetic modification can achieve what Saitama has done, I have to love that ✨🤣
PS we need an Afro Ange photo 💀
i think there is one on insta
In latest chapter we are kind of finding why saitama is so strong.
Thank you for the video
Don't take this show plot seriously, it's literally meant to just be epic and ridiculous
The ashura mode of Kabuto is an Evangelion's Eva 01 reference
Warcry of the strongest Hero there is:
*"BARGAIN DAY AT THE SUPERMARKET!!!!"*
Great reaction!
I can't believe you watched Yu-GI-Oh as well, it is my childhood show.
from what i heard, is that its because saitama just believed really hard that he wanted to be a strong hero, so he ended up becoming THE strongest person in the univerese. idk if its true its just what i heard. i believe it to be true tho
Yesss more opm!
Congratulations!!
one punch man 👊 is my favorite anime
I like your haircut Ange
actually both your hair looks amazing!
what is so hard to get Sensei Saitama has achieve Nirvana he is one with the universe. And he is bald so he must be Budai , AkA = Future Buddha , the only flaw to this logic is that budai is depict as very chubby with a belly that can contain all emotions and misery of the world.
nice to see that you tube don't mute your guitar anymore.. :-)
just realized that's a mark holcomb signature. Periphery fan by any chance?
if you like anime with unique style and good story. You should try Mob Psycho 100.
debo admitir que siempre se ven geniales
The reason Saitama is so strong is because he literally broke his body with that training. It doesn't sound like much but he did it Every, Single, Day. He didn't give his body any time to heal but he kept willing himself through it. So his body 'Broke its Limit' to keep up with him and not
break down completely. There is a bit more to this explanation but that would be spoilers. But yes, he got that strong by only doing that lol
The return of EVA 01
he is the son of the no.1 hero blast
