I like to save in cash too, and then spend on my card. I’m terrible about laying things down in places and if you lay your cash down and there’s no way to replace it or with the card you can at least stop payment or something. I like to use a savings account for long-term goals like Christmas, insurance. things like that. Do you have to pay for childcare when you spend time on yourself? If you do, you might want to put childcare in self-care binder.

I was able to pay off my van loan 1 year and 11 months early. I did it by set some extra money aside. It feels so good to have my van paid off. Now I am going to start saving for our vaction for next summer.

I've missed your videos but you & your boys come first! Just a thought but what about putting things in your Etsy shop as digital download only for a while? You could do it for a few months while you get the rest of your things figured out to how you want them & still have the Etsy income from your wonderful products. Quick side note, it's a psychological thing to want to spend less when you have cash than with a credit card. You physically see your money dwindling and it makes you think about spending less. With a card you just swipe and it's not as daunting lol I stick to cash now because cards get me in trouble haha 😅
Not everyone has that problem. I actually spend cash easier than using my debit card. I've always used my debit card for everything and I have to know how much is in the account before I can swipe. Whenever I have cash I just spend it like it's free money 😂

Etsy and YT are your income, focus on those. Don't spend less time on Etsy because you don't have time. Yes income will drop. Hire a teenager that broke by after school for three hours 3 days a week-thats $90 a week at $10/hr. They can pack orders, print orders, create shipping labels, organize, etc. you focus on design and printing. Their job can grow as your chanel and shop grow. You don't have to hire someone full time at $100k a year. Or maybe hire a housekeeper to come once or twice a month. There are lots of alternatives to finding help.
Under usual circumstances I would completely agree! I'm currently working out of my studio apartment though and barely have room to live with the kids, I definitely don't have space to bring in more inventory and another person. I'm in the middle of moving states too, so paying rent for a workspace and locking in to a lease for a warehouse is also off the table. I'm not saying bye to my full shop and Etsy forever (well, maybe Etsy. I would like to be fully selling on my own website) but I think while we are in such a weird place with the move and space, I'm going to spend the next 8 months - year focusing on UA-cam and I'll pick up my shop (and an employee) at that point. We will see how it all turns out.
Hello, missed you. My husband and I spend about $100 a week on groceries. All of our meals are made at home with the exception to Wednesday nights. My husband and I are the food ministry leaders. We fix dinner for all who attend Wednesday nights Bible study. We use fundraisers to fund those meals at church.

Absolutely! Shifting away from Etsy is going to give me so much time for all the other things I love. (Like school and adventure time with the boys. I'm so excited to get more of that time. ❤) And yes!! I will be moving where my twin moved, and our parents will be moving there too. I'm so lucky! ❤❤❤

I’m so glad your taking that step to prioritize your life. Kind of like hitting the reset or restart button. I homeschooled for a few years and loved it but it does take a lot of time. I understand you need to take a break from Etsy. Glad to see you back! We spend roughly $1,200.00-$1,500.00 monthly on groceries for a family of currently 5 (one of my kiddos lives on her own now that’s why I said currently 5) and 2 dogs. I don’t have a guess on where you’re moving, but I hope where ever it is, it brings you and your boys joy.

I had just randomly looked at your profile and Ig to see if you had posted because I hadn’t seen you in a while lol I missed the live so I didn’t get to figure out where you’re moving but I hope you had a nice trip. You’re smart to scale back where you feel best. I find myself trying to do all the things and it just doesn’t work out well for anyone involved 💕

I just got your 52 week Christmas savings binder and I absolutely love it! I would love some of your other binders, your ur Etsy shop is my favorite but I understand not having time. I homeschool too and between that and housework and kids activities I can't even imagine also having a job. Thanks for the video and good luck with your move.

I would love to see you make those type of videos if you are able to and have the time. I was also going to suggest that you would do a video like last year, that at the end of the year you told us how much you made for the entire year and you broke it down into how much you spent in all the different categories you spent money on, groceries, clothing on the kids, rent, etc. I would love for you to do that video! Oh no! I absolutely love the month books, and was looking into getting one per month. But girl I so get you, being a single mom is hard all on its own, then with you homeschooling and all. My hat goes off to you!!
I will still be launching and selling (limited amounts) of the monthly binders! I'll keep needing them and I know others are excited about them. ❤❤❤❤ They are likely the only new designs / launches I will have for a while. =)
