- There are tons of things to do in Mount Dora! Our visit to Mount Dora Florida left us in awe of the natural beauty in this adorable small town! Right in the heart of Florida, Mount Dora is a natural treasure with lots of good walking trails to see wildlife, including alligators! Go on a Lake Dora boat tour, shop in the city, or relax in one of its many parks. There's a lot to do and explore. On this trip, we visit the infamous freshwater Mount Dora Lighthouse, eat delicious vegan food, and find some awesome hiking nearby.

I live in Citrus County, FL. Mount Dora is about a 45 minute drive from where I live. I go there almost every weekend. It's a neat place.
Very nice! We'd love to go back there throughout the year to see what all of the festivals are about. Mt. Dora is awesome!

You should come back to mount Dora during Christmas time, there is an event for a few days at night for christmas, it’s the Christmas walk. I’ve gone almost every year and it’s great
