Previously had some neighbors from hell and their kids intentionally block us from reversing out of our driveway, just to secretly record 'noise evidence' coming from the back-up alarm that is installed on our car. They tried use that as an excuse to sue us for being anti-social or whatever when we had good intentions to install it in the first place to warn others and prevent accidents. The audacity of some adults acting like immature children themselves is really cringe to watch 🙄
Never formally got a cop show up to address the noise complaint and ask us to remove the back-up alarm device either.

Wiring is same in all cars.connect the siren positive (Red) and negative (black) to Riverse light properly. Insulate the positive wire connection properly to avoid short circuit...

The reverse sirens pulse on and off with constant 12v input and ground. You would need some kind of timer circuit to pulse a horn, otherwise installing a horn to your reverse lights will just have the horn on the whole time you are in reverse.
If you don’t mind it just a solid horn every time you back up wire it the same as the siren.
As for a pulse circuit, one could open the back up siren and replace its “speaker” with a car horn. Test the circuit before hand to insure it delivers enough to the “speaker” to function the horn.

Check siren connection and clean connection.Then if doesn't work.replace your reverse siren...
