I don't play much ASA anymore.... but when I do, my Jericho is my gamer. Used to swing Monta a lot. One complaint: waiting to get it when you buy one. Always waiting for stuff to arrive from China.
Buying one retail is definitely challenging. And some of them carry such a premium when buying second hand, that it almost makes it hard justify. That said, I'm with you. Love my ASA Pures.
Both bats had composite handles! I actually like alloy handles as long as it’s the right stiffness/thickness combo. As far as which performs better, I think it’s probably subjective with a two piece bat.
I'll be transparent and say that I can't answer that question as in depth as I'd like, mostly because of my limited experience with them. But I can say for sure that I do feel like the M2/M5 (which are nearly identical IMO) is a little better than the MX from a performance standpoint. But that's not taking anything away from the MX, because it was still top notch. I do feel like the MX responsiveness was better though. Sweetspot on both bats were huge.
I believe what Monsta tried to do with the MX tech was make it hotter out the wrapper and last just as long as the previous tech. Like any brand new bat they always have room to break in etc. So imo I would think they perform the same but honestly I have only swang m2 and m5 tech. I am just building my conclusion based on what I have noticed with mx.
Long story short - At one point in time, their customer service wasn't the greatest. There was a lot of variables that went into the problems customers would have with them. But their product was so good that people would tolerate it. I refused to review and encourage someone to buy the product and risk being treated like that. DISCLAIMER - They have grown leaps and bounds on many standpoints over where they started when it comes to customer interaction and customer experience. And they'll only get better with Lyf Nimmo working with them.
@TheBPHero Ahh, I get it now-thanks for the clarification! Side note-I think the only ASA bats I’ve liked as much as Monsta are the 2017-2019 ASA Miken/Worth models.

Great video as always! Was the Torch an alloy or composite handle? Any thoughts on which type of handle performs better?

You look good with a Monsta in your hands 🤙🏼 and no, I'm not talking about Reid. 😅
You stay outta this! 🤣
🤣🤣🤣
Any update on when you'll do the iron man 2.0 and 3.0 comparison? Thanks!
I am a squirrel. I keep working on these others and forgetting about the comparison. I'll work on that for you tonight!
Best bats around
Hard to argue their tech is nice, for sure.
MX tech is hotter than the M5/M2s ?

At this point it is almost impossible for Monsta to disappoint. They figured their stuff out long back.
No argument there. They definitely have their program dialed in 100%
what was the deal with you not swinging monstas?
