I feel like I’ve commented on this before, but I’ll do it again. Yes, he takes inspiration from Yo-Ka, and there’s nothing wrong with that. Lots of artists take inspiration from others, it’s very helpful to a lot of musicians. And a lot of people are giving this guy shit for being like someone he looks up to, but listen. He’s worked hard and has genuine talent, if he only wanted to be like Yo-ka this business is way to demanding for someone who isn’t whole hearted about their craft. We all have people we aspire to be like too, so instead of tearing him down, appreciate the work he’s done and the success he’s made. It isn’t simple
90% of the comments section: "OMG he copying yo-ka!". Please. The dude actually admitted to being a total yo-ka fanboy. I wouldn't be so surprised. To be honest with you, though, for me it's part of the charm. I find this appealing _because_ of the yo-ka vibes rather than in spite of them. Besides, as long as LIKI doesn't pull a Mediena (cough Rasen totally sounds like Valluna's Aishia cough), we're cool. ;)
Actually I'm really happy to find a band with a similar concept as DIAURA. There's too few military themed bands around. And their sound is far from copycat, so as you said, cool.
