Why did they try arresting him in the first place dumbass? He didn't do anything and reacted only when they tried arresting.
These police had guns and did not use them, that shows amazing composure.
Of course it does that’s why he’s suspended. He’s not meant to see red. All he did was prove he’s a loose cam on the force and l don’t think being unprofessional is what police are meant to be like. He was right to be suspended. They are trained not to do what he did. They are the police.

What is the law for citizens resisting arrest? Police must feel confident to use full force in such incidents.
"Too forceful!" They were viscerally attacked while trying to perform a search. They were armed officers and could easily have used their firearms after they were assaulted, but they were restrained. The actions of the two chaps at the centre of this resulted in them injuring several officers and being injured in the process. This is on the guys, not the police force. I have lost respect for the police due to their overt 2-tier policing across Britain; however, in this instance, they could have shot the guys as they were clearly facing a severe threat. The guy kicked had shown he wasn't going to stop without force.
Police were right on the nail with this one, we want strong police who represent British values and citizens. They have an incredibly hard job
Someone asked a question on YT, 'How would you feel if it was your son/daughter being kicked'? My answer was ' My kids wouldn't be kicked because they were Brough up properly. I am reminded of a G20 meeting in London some years ago. There were Heads of Government there from all the major countries. Security was necessarily tight. There were protests - of course. The police had to make absolutely sure that the delegates were kept safe. At a demonstration, a man approached a line of police officers with shields and he was pushed back and he fell over. For some reason, he died a few days later - you may recall this incident.
The Police were severely criticised by everyone for heavy-handed tactics, notwithstanding the diplomatic repercussions if anything had gone wrong. So, the next time there was a demonstration in London, as we predicted, the police stood back and let them get on with it. It was students protesting about tuition fees and they endfed up storming Conservative Central Office and some were on the roof throwing fire extinguishers down. And the police just stood there and watched. Again, they were criticised for not doing anything.
I suggest that those people who are so quick to criticise the police get stuck in and show the police how they would like the job done because the police are criticised if they are tough and criticised if they aren't. They are in a no-win situation.
