I miss this product man, a huge part of my childhood. Personally I loved the Henry Cheddar from the second batch, it had a fish like taste. Too bad it gave me a disease that could only be cured with Special Welsh Coal.
I remember when I was a kid in 1995 I decided to go down to the store to spend my $9 that I saved up with through doing chores around the house on what ever I wanted. I rushed to the local super market and spent the money on all three flavours of Thomas Cheddar without hesitation because I saw this commercial on Chuga that immediately made me want to buy it. After buying all three flavours I rushed home and got the dried bread which had continently had three pieces left. I decided to try Thomas cheddar first which tasted rotten and didn’t have the best taste but I was still able to eat it and I loved it. The next day I ate James cheddar which was very spicy that it caused my taste buds to be completely wiped through 3rd degree burns and my inside was felt like it was burning because of how spicy it was but I also loved it. On the Third Day of my Thomas Cheddar frenzy I ate the best flavour which was Percy cheddar which after consuming my jaw shattered into little pieces leading me to be in the hospital for several months although it was the best tasting out of the three and was the cheese I loved the most. Unfortunately it was the last time I would buy Thomas cheddar as after my jaw’s recovery, my parents banned me from purchasing any more Thomas Cheddar until I moved out because of the high medical bills. This meant I was unable to try the other flavours that were released like Edward, Gordon, Henry and Toby Cheddar. This made me throw a massive tantrum which lead to me being put in time out for several hours. There was one point where I moved out of my parents house and wanted some Thomas Cheddar but they were unfortunately discontinued due ‘safety and health concerns’ (which was propaganda made by the FDA). After I heard about this discontinuation I left the grocery store and cried in my car for many hours as I missed the great taste of Thomas cheddar and thought I would never be able to eat it ever again. I still vaguely remembered the commercial and the taste and thinking about those factors made me cry. I also tried to find the commercial on the internet but I couldn’t find it and for a long time it was considered lost media. However when I thought Thomas Cheddar would be lost to time, I stumbled across this commercial among other excellent foods like Chocolate Thomas which I consumed during my childhood while browsing UA-cam. I clicked on the commercial and it was the same commercial as how I remembered it. Then all the childhood memories of Thomas Cheddar came rushing in and I started to remember everything about Thomas Cheddar and my experience with it. I cried happy tears of nostalgia due to all of the childhood memories of Thomas Cheddar and it led me to eagerly await its arrival. I also dreamed about eating Thomas Cheddar and reliving the moments when I ate all of three flavours of Thomas Cheddar consumed during my childhood. I am still eagerly awaiting this beautiful sausage shaped cheese to its return someday to get my childhood frenzy started up again. Thank You Cho Cho hland for creating such an amazing and tasty cheese that was and still is a worthwhile purchase of $3 each that even Gordon Ramsey would not be able to compete with. I Rate this awesome cheese a solid 10/10. I will 100% eat it again when it comes back on store shelves so I can relive my childhood and the nostalgia from eating this cheese on an old dried out bun.
