He hadn't been looking after himself mentally and physically for years leading up to the breakdown and it all hit him like a freight train. When he sought counselling, his therapist ended up starstruck and insisted his problems were related to fame and being a celeb, which wasn't the case. His bad therapy only exacerbated his depression.

I've gotten used to him using this much deeper voice when he's interviewing musicians for Perfect Sounds. It makes me curious though if this is his natural speaking voice, or the one he uses on stage now, with this deeper one being when he is more reserved/nervous.

it is cool to see how his stand ups evolved over time, he seems a bit similiar to noel fielding in this bit (not a diss) he’s hilarious then & now. It’s just interesting to see his own unique style develop what a fantastic comedian

every time I hear an escalator joke it reminds me of the local mall, which has an escalator in the middle and stairs at the extreme ends. whenever the escalator wouldn't work, it would be cordoned off with out of order signage. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't a nonfunctioning escalator still a set of stairs?
