Hamburger fans can thank three people for this match. First, Bori Primorac suffered a tragic loss in the second leg of the quarter-finals (Hajduk - HSV 3-2, Hamburg advanced thanks to the away goal rule at the time) when he conceded a goal to Hamburg in the second minute and later missed a penalty. Then to his goalkeeper, who defended the best of his career in that match, and to the third person, the referee of the first match in Hamburg, which HSV won 1-0, thanks to the referee who did not first play offside and then the obvious foul on Hajduk's goalkeeper Pudar. Just as HSV destroyed Real Madrid, Hajduk destroyed Hamburg even more in Split.
Agreed... Hajduk overplayed Hsv in both matches, they were simply better team... The second leg in Split was the best game of soccer 'Bili' ever presented in their history ! I will never forget packed Poljud stadium, fantastic, technical, tough and gritty approach of Hajduk, unlucky Boro, young Gudelj and goalkeeper Tony Kargus from another universe...

1980 war das ein Halbfinale im Landesmeister Cup, also oberstes Regal.
En esa época físicamente los equipos alemanes estaban a años luz de lo que se entrenaba en España que aún era un fútbol poco físico,normal que nos metieran esas goleadas,y también en Alemania tomaban ciertas golosinas que aquí no conocíamos..
