    lowering springs,,and maybe a little lower profile tire make these cars look a lot sportier and hunkered down looking

    The car looks better than the video presents. like the interior looks kinda dull on video but great in person. it actually drives pretty damn well too. Chevy gets a pass with this Malibu

      +Thomas McClure yes the LT , especially the leather with bose speakers is a thing of beauty. I was very impressed when I say inside and test drive the car. How are you liking your Malibu? because this may be the car for me

    Hey,
    Love the new Malibu, with the new 8 speed whats you RPM at like 70, 75, and 80? and highway MPG?
    Thanks

    • @JustinKelly
      @JustinKelly  8 років тому +1

      +BamaJebac Im sure with the 8 speed you'll sit somewhere around 2k at 70 and slightly higher the faster you go but I am not positive nor I am I sure of actual MPG.

    Stick the 2.0T in the chevy cruze with a good manual transmission and a sport tuned suspension and you might have something fun.

    Is the bose sound system a premium option?

    • @JustinKelly

      Al Yoo Yes it is an option. Chevy changed the packaging around of then since this video.

      @@JustinKelly The 2016 2.0 turbo came with an 8 speed automatic an for only that year you could get the 2.0 turbo an a LT model GM ended that option for 2017. The 2017 2.0 turbo now comes with a new 9 speed automatic and with minor designs for 2019 a fully loaded Malibu Premier will cost around $40,000.

      @@robertjakicic5878 Correct. Someone in my family actually has a 2016 2.0 LT car.

    At this time, I have a gray LT Malibu with the 1.5 Turbo. Trying it out. I'm also looking at a white Premier Malibu 2.0 Malibu. Tonight I have to decide which I want to buy. The premier I can get for 30 grand and also get a 500.00 dollar check, not a rebate but actual cash. Payment is lower for the LT but all the extras on the Premier looks great for only 12 dollars more in payments. What do you guys think? Thanks

    • @dwcaudill2971
      @dwcaudill2971 7 років тому

      I really love the LT but I like the extra kick of the Premier. I could save a hundred dollars a month with the LT but damn guys The Premier is so much more car. Sorry, I guess I'm looking for support. Just tell me to go with the pearl white Premier. LMAO

    • @JustinKelly
      @JustinKelly  7 років тому

      DW Caudill I love the Premier, they look to be great cars. Is it a 2016 or 2017? If a 2017 it would have a new 9 speed transmission. Personally I would get the Premier.

      I bought the Premier 16' model. Pick it up this afternoon. Wife loves it too.

    • @JustinKelly
      @JustinKelly  3 роки тому

      Not in the first couple model years of this generation. It transitioned to that though.

    30k really?

    • @JustinKelly
      @JustinKelly  8 років тому +1

      Yup! The guy that walked up at the end commenting saying that this car certainly does NOT look like 30k, but like more. We had a short conversation talking about Chevy's marketing strategies and people saying it looks like a BMW and costs 80k... we were both like yeah no.

    • @android175

    Cloth seat for 30 grand, I don't fucking think so GM.

    • @JustinKelly
      @JustinKelly  8 років тому

      Some people prefer cloth but most of these that come in that are LT or higher have the leather package so this one is a little unique!

      I recently built one on the website with the 1.5t and got these wheels, sunroof and leather, for just under 30k. theres a few ways to option these cars

    • @FLJAMESFL
      @FLJAMESFL 8 років тому

      I guess my question is, why hasn't GM gone the Cloth, LEATHERETTE, then True Leather route. GM is just so slow on things that are in and work well.

    I've said it before and I'll say it again, I honestly think the Malibu should've been killed of years ago.. Only reason is It seems Chevy has too many cars in the line up... End of story

    • @JustinKelly
      @JustinKelly  8 років тому

      +BlakesCars2 Its approaching the Impala's specs so yeah I kinda agree but realize they sell a ton of these too.

      +BlakesCars2
      I would say it should have been killed because its never been anywhere close to being as good as an accord. Only people who know nothing about cars would buy this over an accord.
