Think I'm gonna get this preamp. My Bellari Se560 sonic exciter went all distorted about a couple of months ago. Don't know how the hell I'm gonna repair that. Sigh 🤷
I m planning to buy one of this. Do you recommend? and you test the aux entry? and how about the impedance is it all about the cartridge that you use? thanks sorry about a lot of questions greetings from rio de janeiro
I have not tested the aux Filipe. The headphone output does the job. It has multiple impedancesettings with dipswitches on the side, only one produces great sound on 1 KiloOhm in my setting. You can switch between MM and MC. I use it in combination with my MC ortofon-cartridge and find it worth for the money for sure. It probably also will play samba ;-)

I wish the tubes and VU meter were placed next to each other. Always visible from front.

why would a phono stage have a volume knob? please explain
It's basically a pre-amp with connections for MM/MC phono and aux.
