Jimmy, YT did not put REPLY button under your comment. You are welcome, ROCO told me I can use more stronger power supply, I'm actually will sell it with 3.5 Amps power supply with output voltage regulation, the z21 has few limitations, bit it is not big deal for the significant lower price. I will make another video about just z21, and will put z21 with power supply system on our website.
Hey, box will handle 3 A, however Power supply is coming with in about 1.5 A so 2-3 HO locomotives you can run simultaneously. IF you replace the Power supply then 6-10 locomotives.
***** Cпасибо! You are very kind. My rail tracks are all Fleischmann, but my white z21 is connected with a Roco track out, it looks strange and would like to buy back a fleischmann track out. (Now it is like in this picture: www.flickr.com/photos/26306177@N02/15709524749/) Thanks for your help friend!
The main difference: 1. No adjustable output voltage. Hoverer if you buying from us we will provide transformer with adjustable output from 15-24 Volts AC to power the unit. 2. There is no any of additions connection, please diagram at the end of the movie. 3. No programming track output. 4. Cannot update ZIMO decoder, personally I prefer ZIMO programmer it is easy to use stand alone unit. I will make new video about all those items I mentioned above.
I have a question. I plan on getting a Roco 31031 H0e starter set which comes with the z21start. I understand that the 10814 WLAN package is required to get the LAN port to work, but how can one connect the z21 to a different router? Roco claims that advanced users can use a different router after unlocking the z21 but they don't explain how. Thank you so much.
I'll probably end up getting the router/code package anyway since the price isn't much higher than the code by itself. So you're saying that after the port is unlocked the z21 will connect to any router with no issue? Thanks again for helping. Roco's wording online is somewhat confusing.
Yes, it will unlock ethernet port then you can use any router. This is from ROCO website for dealers: Activation Code z21 If you already have your own router, all you need to do is to get the z21 activation code.
Okay, that really helps. Just one more question. I found a few people on online forums that said the power supplies that come with the z21 and the router will work on US 120v with just a plug adapter. Is there any way you could test this just to be sure? It would save me the trouble of having to purchase additional power supplies specifically for American plugs.
No problem. Power supply for router will work with plug adapter 110-240 volts, but power supply for the z21 Start works only with 220 volts and Europen plug please watch this video ua-cam.com/video/asolW1xw570/v-deo.html
I'm going to list it on our website www.dcctrain.com in few days, if price is OK please call to the store on Saturday 10-6 PM ET 513-388-9000 to make a purchase.

Roco Multimaus vs Roco z21 ???
Thanks for watching.
Can I use with ez track system?
Sure.
What is the difference between them? If I want to play it like a professional. I should get the big Z21?

Yes, you just need to purchase the code to unlock the port. I just get notification from ROCO the are shipping packages to the store with the code.
