REPORT ON FIT INDIA PLOGGING AT SAI NATIONAL BOXING ACADEMY ROHTAK ON 02ND OCTOBER 2019
SAI National Boxing Academy, Rohtak organized “Fit India Plogging” programme at 07:00 AM on 02nd October 2019 to promote “Fit India Movement and Swachh Bharat Mission”. Following are the highlights of the programme:
1) The icons of the run :

c) Sh. Sachin, Asian & Youth Commonwealth Champion

5) The run began after introductory address by Sh. Satish K. Sarhadi, COO SAI NBA, Rohtak and the icons, National Anthem followed by safety instructions to the participants.
6) ROUTE OF THE RUN:
The plogging run was led by the icons from Gate No. 3 of Rajiv Gandhi Sports Complex, Sector-06, Rohtak till Sukhpura Chowk via Ladhaut Road and concluded at SAI NBA administrative building. Pilot vehicle of the local police escorted the participants.
7) DISPOSAL OF GARBAGE:
After the plogging, the garbage collected was separated into recyclable and non-recyclable waste. Accordingly the waste was disposed-off in the municipality vehicle.
8) TREE PLANTATION:
It was followed by Plantation drive which was sponsored by Rotary Club, Rohtak in the premised of SAI NBA and Rajiv Gandhi Sports Complex, Rohtak.
9) SEMINAR ON WASTE MANAGEMENT
A presentation on Waste Management and its importance was given to the participants.
10) REFRESHMENTS
Refreshments were distributed to the participants for recovery.
