Economics is analogous to natural science (physics, chemistry) when MBA is analogous to engineering. The latter is more practical and has more job opportunities.
Me, a socially awkward person, learned to be less socially awkward through my bachelor's in psychology, now for my master's I'm going to go economics. Best of both worlds lol
Many people get a masters in economics and then turn around and get their MBA, these people go on to become CEOs/owners. People who pursue only an economics degree, even with a high GPA, tend to become employees exclusively.
Hey, love the videos. Could you please do a video on What a typical economics semester looks like and what you can expect from the programme, the pros, cons and work load? Very much appreciated, thanks.
Isn't kind of obvious that people under 2.8 GPA would be more likely to not major in Economics? Asides from the few discrepancies you mentioned, the vast majority of those under the 2.8 couldn't join because of the GPA requirement.
Well sir. Please be born an indian in some southern part and you will understand that you will get employed in economics only when you study in a few colleges.

Dang, 0.5 off on a GPA can screw u of $20,000+ a year 😭😭
It’s depressing to see that that gpa cutoff had such a massive negative impact on the earnings of those with under a 2.8 gpa.

It's not because that economics majors are in high demand more than psychology majors, rather than skills acquired because of economics majoring?
Why do Economics majors have a low average GPA?

I am trying to find an economics Ph.D program with a fellowship. You spoke of this in a prior video. How does one find such a program?
Most PhD programs offer fellowships at admission.
2:41 well here we all are listening to an economist rather than a psychologist :) Jokes aside, great video as always.

Yes. I had an associate of arts degree and I went to economics major.
