    Anybody else see the irony in the federal government pretending to know the basics of a balanced budget?

    • @Speedj2
      @Speedj2 9 років тому +20

      note how the tire pops and they need a new car at 0:20. yeah, seems like typical government thinking.

      Stephen Kotopka Is this not the basics of a balanced budget?

      Stephen Kotopka The government cant even run itself without failing on its ass. What hypocrites

    • @SirSeabass
      @SirSeabass 9 років тому +3

      +vtech325 I think that Stephen is just trying to point out the hypocrisy of the "Do as I say not as I do" stance this video seems to imply.

    • @vtech325
      @vtech325 9 років тому +2

      Sebastian Smith But it isn't hypocritical.
      Just because you got into a car accident doesn't mean you can't advise people on how to *not* get into one.

    Budget, knowing where your money goes, instead of wondering where it all went! Very helpful.

      ChocolateHeartz Congratulations on your scholarship. Not everybody has the resources or ability to get a full ride scholarship. I believe education should be accessible to everyone. Hopefully you will learn to be more humble in the future, and pay attention in English 101.

    It's really hard to figure out your income when you make tips. It's basically changing week to week depending on tips and hours. Budgeting in my situation is hard.

    • @321beth321
      @321beth321 8 років тому +6

      Then just estimate the average what you get in a week.

    • @laurenmartin-zumaeta8784
      @laurenmartin-zumaeta8784 3 роки тому

      Try making an excel spreadsheet - or any kind of written or digital spreadsheet, for that matter - where you write down how much you receive in tips each day, week, month, etc. Excel formulas can help you find the average amount of tips you receive a month which can help you with budgeting.

      +Justin Lareaux budgeting is not easy, but the basic premise of why you should budget is. I think this video was trying to convey that idea instead of being a video about steps by steps instructions on how to budget.

      +Rich Rose, I use to work in sales, and what I used to do I used to take a yearly average. My monthly budget used to my last year's income divided by 12.
      Over three and half years working as sales rep, even accounting for different amounts of money made during different times of the year, on average, I made about average :)
      When I got a big paycheck, I put a corresponding big amount in savings, because I knew for a fact, sucky months were ahead.

    • @p1bump
      @p1bump 8 років тому

      amen to that last paragraph. the difficulty is that income has continually declined and, therefore, a budget based on this become impractical. Instead, I'm holding on to each fistful of pennies with great trepidation!

      You don't pay back a grant. Starting from a public college then transferring would have to made it cheaper. I don't know how far along you are so it could be too late.

    I been on a 150.00 budget for about a year and let me tell you. It's not worth it because you don't have a life it will drive you insane. I let someone take over my Bank account and that person gives me 150.00 a week to live on. Yes I have a good sum of money if you enjoy living like a hermit maybe it's for you. But life will pass you by living that way if your single.

    Does anyone realize that if my son was a convicted felon like the millions in Oklahoma’s prison system they would get a free education at our expense. But because all of you students have done the right thing you actually get nothing free. What in the World of ant kind does that make any sense. I’m a single mother, unemployed and have a rare blood disorder, do you think I get a break? No. And where did they learn budgeting? I’m more confused than I was when I started. Good Luck All; your going to need it. LOL
