@@masegauntt9085 the issue I was having was that the digital gauge was reading 0 psi at idle and 25 max when cold. I knew something wasn’t right which is why I did the mechanical gauge to verify. It’s definitely making more than it needs which was a genuine surprise since this engine has given me issues more than once over the years.
GS- Not many know the 6.5s that well. Do you have a video on replacing injectors? No great wrench myself. Do I need to remove the turbo or can the passenger side be done without removal? I don't have a FB account. 1994 6.5 Chevy 1 ton, 4W Automatic mostly stock. I'm told the bad new noise is a fuel knock injectors original 180K on truck. Sorry for the hijacked thread but hoped the most current video release would catch your attention. TIA.

10 psi per 1k RPM is what I’ve lived by. Got a BBC 454 with 8-10 psi at idle when warm, no issues
40psi of oil pressure at idle (regardless of weight) Is actually not beneficial to the motor. It makes the engine work harder and is wasted HP.
