AI the truth this guy was amazing for his height to do what he's been able to do gives hope to all short players. height don't mean nothing it's all about heart.

Agree 100%...I actually think the '04-'05 and '05-'06 AI were his two best seasons from the standpoint of efficiency, playing a lead guard role with both scoring and dishing responsibilities, leadership and still being in his athletic prime but with better decision making as a playmaker. I felt he forgot how to play this way when he went to DEN cuz he was chucking up a lot of bad shots on a stacked team.

@@Israel-nb7ip it’s not that he forgot to play this way in denver it’s that he wasn’t in his athletic prime anymore, he wasn’t even half as fast in denver. But you right on everything else, his two last seasons with the sixers he was a hell of a playmaker

@@antoinemantoux6049 I think his first two seasons with DEN, he was still in enough of his late prime to continue to be an elite playmaker especially with all the weapons that team had. He could've continued his trajectory as a true point but with scoring ability. He chose to regress back to high volume shooting and low pct shots despite not being in his peak and having more talent around him than ever in his career.

@@Israel-nb7ip right, he should have played more like a point guard than a scorer in denver. Playing like a scorer could have worked if he was still at his peak athleticelly but that wasn’t the case. But if ‘05-‘06 iverson had melo with him thats a ring FORE SURE

@@antoinemantoux6049 nah, can't agree. YES that version of AI with Melo would've been nuts but I still don't think those two were disciplined enough to beat the Spurs of that era. AI had his shot to be a true winning player in DEN and chose to go another direction like he was trying to prove something. If he had taken that '03-'06 game to DEN I think they'd of gotten to a Finals. They made the Western Conference Finals with Chauncy the next yr and Chauncy isn't on AI's level physically so it was all leadership IMO.

"he has earned the respect from the officials so he gets that call" - show me that rule in the rule book please. Airtight proof that basketball is as corrupt as it gets. Every word of Tim Donaghy's book is completely vindicated by that comment.

I hated the fact that the raptors court was red and they wore purple jerseys😭😭
