  • I made almost 40K on Etsy last year as a small business owner selling handmade items out of the basement of my home after three years of losing money in the business. There were three small changes I made in the start of the year that I credit with Sew Uprising turning around and today I am sharing them with you.

That’s a good idea about changing the banner monthly to reflect new products. Thank you!

Inspiring! Thank you, I only sell on consignment locally, 30% commission. Sounds like I need to research fabric wholesalers! 😃 Keep up the great work!

@@danika6586 cotton and steel fabrics and art gallery fabrics were my first two wholesale fabric suppliers, they would be a great place to start!

7:57 Your advice on commenting on reviews is golden! Definitely reading the book! Which software do you use to track your product numbers, costs, and profits? I don’t pay myself. 😢

I use quickbooks to track most of my expenses / income and a pricing spreadsheet to make sure my profit margins are right!
