- Testing a new prototype chassis from M2C racing. This chassis is lighter than stock and twice as strong! Made mainly for racing and not recommended for harder bashing, we wanted to see just what it would handle in the bash field! I had a few hard tumbles, smacks and hard ramp sends and it seemed to take it just fine! Along with the other parts that performed flawlessly as usual! I hit up a couple spots since the first area was less than desired terrain. HUGE shout out to Mitch again for his hard work and also Arrma!! Thanks for watching!

I just got the latest Typhon model as I’ve been out of RC for decades, but damn this thing flies and takes a $#?! load of a beating. Your ramp launches are insane, as I wait for my street tires to arrive as I’ll mainly be running mine on pavement. I’m too nice with my stuff and won’t get anywhere this crazy with my new RC Typhon. But glad to see someone putting it out there any testing/breaking limits and beyond.
Making me miss my typhon. Sold it two years ago. Great rig. Didnt like the weight of the chassis but happy to see m2c company step in with upgrades 😎👍

Not as tough as a 4mm I'm sure but killer to lighten the rig and let it rip! Yes I did get to visit him and his crew😊Such an amazing sight to see these parts being made right in front of me! Mitch is an awesome cool dude and knows his stuff! That front flip at the 7:30 mark was amazing! 😱😱 Seems like the lightened chassis held up 👍 I figured it would on the Typhon. I will have to put it on my M2C wish list 🤣🤣

Thanks so much man!👊Yeah over time with running them in and out, the threads in the case just get worn out. Plus lots of hard chassis slaps put a lot of downward force on them..the diff cases in this rig are at least 2 years old so it's time for a new one!🤣

That chassis looks really nice 😎👍👊 I want to try the shock standoffs. Those look super beefy. I'd say the the standoffs are my most common breakage. I'm going to go back to buggy tires on my Typhon. The MX28 Badlands just balloon way too much. I think I'll keep the Kraton hubs/hexes/stubs on though. I'm too lazy to change it back 😂 Great stuff, Eric 😎 The chassis looks like a winner. Damn mitch really does make the best chassis. I just put sn m2c on my kraton an love it.is that an rpm wing mount? As much as i love rpm parts, there wing mounts need to be beefed up i go thru them like candy.love seeing you send them Eric always inspires me to send it n have a blast.

@@shaggysgcanimal Yeah he just wanted to see how it held up bashing. It's still stronger than stock but over time, the 4mm will be your best bet for hard bashing!

It looks like Your typhon has more control in the air and power for wheelies than mine.. mind if I ask what weight diff oil you use? I’m trying 80k front 100k center and 50k rear but there’s no way it’ll wheelie and yours about flips over!! Awesome job man, keep them coming!!

Hi Eric, Quick question... What is your setup on this animal..? Don't often see a Typhon pull wheel stands like that...on pretty much every surface!!!.. It's an animal.!! Looks like the BLX stock setup but.. have I missed something??.. what pinion do you run, also do you run super thick oil in the centre diff or a spool?? Why and how hahaha..Thing is truly an animal!!

Thanks so much bro!!😎👊Yeah this Typhon is nuts powerful! Maybe it's a good motor!😂But I run the blx system with punch 9 on the ESC And 18 tooth pinion. The Duratrax Lockups have serious traction too which helps! The diffs are 50k front, 200k center and 30k rear. I also have a bit stiffer suspension setup. Thicker oil and Outcast front springs in the front shocks.😎👊💪🤘🤘

hey man tha time has come to order the final parts for my v4 kraton. this question is about the speed chassis vs goliath chassis. i will be bashing and hitting jumps and stuff but will not constantly be doing big air just manly dirt and grass bashing and i think with the m2c chassis braces,shock towers, and his standoffs and all the other reputable upgrades ive done to this build so far and the kinda bashing i do the lightened chassis would hold up 'hopefully' It has to be stronger then the stock chassis And those take a beating if the proper suspension and braces are installed. I'm trying to keep my car as light and tough as possible. Do you think the speed chassis will be a good fit and hold up to some decent size jumps every once in awhile and dirt bashing or do you think i should order the Goliath chassis? in this video it looks as if the rig holds up very well but its also shorter wheel base and more compact then the kraton. but you're the arrma king man and i will trust your word when it comes to arrma and rc upgrades. So please let me know your thoughts sorry for the extremely long message man and ill ttyl.
Sounds like an awesome build bro!💪IMHO I'd go ahead and get the Goliath chassis. The speed chassis is tough but after several runs and a bad landing, I ended up bending mine. Its is tougher than stock but made for the speed run guys. He just wanted me to test it in the bash field to see what it would take! But you're right, the longer Kraton chassis would be more susceptible to bending so the 4mm may be the way to go. One and done!👌Good luck bro and hope she turns out nice!!😎👊

No the 3s typhon has a very special 1 piece plastic chassis. Would be very hard, heavy and expensive to make it out of aluminum

Is the chassis longer than original 6s? An is the 6s chassis same as 3s?
Same length just 2mm instead of 3 to lighten it up. Still 7075💪The 3s has a plastic chassis so whole other platform although they are roughly the same size.

I believe I was running the stock blx185 paired with a Turnigy 2000kv 4074.
@@RCDUDE81 Cool, i bought supidly big 4585 motor, i got the m2c long chassie so its gonna fit, its only 1580 kv, im trying it Because im geting bored of tp motors and their price, i have one but its 2700 kv which is wayyy to much, its only 60$, its surpass hobby cheapo
