Wonderful set up with the galaxy of Indian stars. Loved watching, no extravaganzas, vulgarities or superficialities, nor highly decorated with digital lighting, simple and artistically designed background which i liked the most. Dignified Hosts as well as their elocution. Both were too good. Felt like being in a humane program. My favourite Calcutta or Kolkata, what matters more is the heart which is embedded in that land. CM madam Mamta didi is the iron lady who is the beacon of good will.Hope the festival will unite whole of India with positive outputs. The logo is also well designed. Simply loved watching every bit of it. Marvellous show with lovely Sonakshi sinha. Soulful background music bestowing emphasis to human presence. Congratulations entire team.

২৯ তম কলকাতা আন্তর্জাতিক চলচ্চিত্র উৎসব এর সুচনাপর্ব দেখে এবার খুব ভাল লেগেছে।বিশেষ করে বাংলার প্রবীনদের অনেক কে এবার এই আসরে দেখা গেছে,সাবিত্রী চট্টোপাধ্যায়, মাধবী মুখার্জি, লিলি চক্রবর্তী, পরান গঙ্গোপাধ্যায়, দীপংকর দে,রঞ্জিত মল্লিক,সব্যসাচী চট্টোপাধ্যায়, অঞ্জন দত্ত , কথেকে শুরু করে চিরঞ্জিত,প্রসেনজিৎ, ঋতুপর্না থেকে বর্তমান সময়ের অভিনেতা,অভিনেত্রী,চলচ্চিত্র পরিচালকদের এই আসরে দেখে খুব ভাল লেগেছে।এবার 29th KIFF এর আসরে প্রথমে শুনেছিলাম ২ খান একসাথে থাকবে।পরে জানলাম এক দিনে শাহরুখ কন্যা এবং অমিতাভ বচ্চন এর নাতী( শ্বেতা বচ্চন পুত্র) বলিউড এ অভিষেক তাই শাহরুখ আসতে পারেনি।এক ই অনুষ্ঠানে অমিতাভ এবং শাহরুখ কে দেখা গেছে।ইতিমধ্যে গুঞ্জন 'বচ্চন পরিবারের নাতি এবং শাহরুখ কন্যা' হয়ত দুই পরিবারের আত্মিয়তার সম্পর্ক হতে পারে।অনিল কাপুর কে সে ৯০ দশকের অনিল কাপুরের মতই লেগেছে।জুন মালিহা ও চুর্নি গাঙ্গুলীর উপস্থাপনা চমৎকার। ধন্যবাদ শ্রীমতি মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়, ধন্যবাদ রাজ চক্রবর্তী।

We have producers from Australia, Spain, USA, etc. From Bollywood, we had Bhaijaan Salman Khan this time, Anil Kapoor, Shatrughan Sinha, Sonakshi Sinha, Mahesh Bhatt. From Bengal, we deeply admire who all we had. Sabyasachi babu, Ranjeet Babu, Dipankar Babu, Bumbada, Chironjeet Da, Goutam Ghosh, Anjan Dutta, Sandeep Ray, Savitri Chattopadhyay,Paran Babu, Madhabi Mukhopadhyay, Lily Chakraborty, etc. In the audience, there were Dev, our " নায়িকা" s, etc. 🌎 👏

কলকাতা নিয়ে গান এখনো পর্যন্ত অনুপম রায় এর "তুমিও হেটে দেখো কলকাতা" বেস্ট/তবে এই কলকাতা গানের অরিজিৎ এর গলা খুব সুন্দর। আর এখানে সবচেয়ে বেশি হ্যান্ডসাম লাগছে প্রসেনজিৎ চট্টোপাধ্যায়কেই। সালমান খান মন্দ নয়। প্রসেনজিৎ সালমান জুটি হলে দারুন হতো।

No one misses people-pleasing, fake politeness, being yes mam/sir in front of politicians, and reading speeches from the script. Salman on the other hand was humble, entertaining, witty, spontaneous, confident, real and mesmerizing. Additionally, his stage presence and improvisational skills are far superior to any other actor in the industry including SRK, Aamir, or Mr. Bachchan. You only sound completely biased and frustrated. Everyone on the stage looked happy, laughing, and comfortable around him.
