I like how the Vietnamese coach told his player to switch to using her upperback to do the block, and how the Thai coach told his player to modify her strike to beat that!

Look at the adaptation right here from the Thailand team 44:53. After having been brutally stuffed by the Vietnam team's two person block at 42:15, she takes the same, obvious seeming position to spike, then does a dink instead. This sport is so insane.
that player seems to me to be scarily good compared to all five other on the field.
The only thing that went quicker than my thought process of "WTH is this?" to "Why isn't this in the Olympics?", was my hamstring when I thought I'd give it a go.
Hahah 🤣🤣🤣
because Olympic is a western game,Asian prior game will not be allowed
@@willeonfly taekwondo is in the olympics.
@@Guardian-ig7yf yeah but the Olympics is a western thing they’ve only just added Karate to the Olympics
@@jamal202z2 llympics is much closer to Asia than you think. The Greeks will not be happy with you...
I like how the Vietnamese coach told his player to switch to using her upperback to do the block, and how the Thai coach told his player to modify her strike to beat that!
Ikr, this is a literal anime.
Man this game is so legit, just throwing fly kicks all night🤩💯
😂
😂
I wasnt looking for this, but thank you youtube, I really watched the entire video and somehow enjoyed it?
Idk how this came up but I watched the whole match. The skill level for this is insane
Makes all those games of Hackysack seem embarrassing.
I’m so proud that gorillaz ‘ feel good inc. ‘ is in the background
Oh shiet, i didn't notice, i was too absorbed in their match to notice it and i had to go back to the beginning after reading your comment 😂👌
Why proud?
El Mehdi Boussalhi proud that they get some recognition even though their already famous
Right? I thought for a second I was the only one who noticed
They were playing a lot of mainstream songs.
#8 on Thailand is sick, strikes are so pure
She's got a good head on her shoulders too: notices that Vietnam is going for double-blockers on her roll spikes and switches to dinking the ball over their heads instead.
Lesbians seem to have that manliness in training
Wow! What an amazing sport :D
And the girls look like they are having fun in the midst of this national championships that are on the stakes. I really felt so happy seeing them enjoy each and every second of the game :D
Great sportsmanship girls :D
I thought this was a volleyball then it’s something else, really interesting
I’ve never heard of this sport but it actually looks really cool
i thought this was volleyball and i was like why is the net so low?!
Lani they’re actually just all over the height of 8’1”
Not fo boys
Not volleyball this is cane ball
With a little hacky sack mixed in.
I come back here because Vietnam's women team just won the world champion of Sepak Takraw in 2023 😇🥰💪💪
Highly underrated sport and prob the reason it’s not popular is because most people CAN’T do this!!!!🤯
Right? How does one even learn they can, much less find a group to train with.
Most people can’t do lots of other competitive sports too yet they’re popular. I could equate this to combat sports and gymnastics. There are lots of not well known sports around the world. It’s all about how people invest money into the sport to promote it and it also comes with time.
I know their daily stretch routines are crazy. Lol this pandemic got me addicted to watching sports I never knew existed.
I did the same thing.....I grew up watching the olympics and swimming is one of the most popular events during the summer olympics so I thought I knew all the swimming events. Nope.....thanks to watching waayyy too much youtube during the pandemic last year I stumbled upon a swimming event where they have scuba tanks on their backs and they wear these giant swimming fins that take they fit both of their feet into so they look like mermaids when they are racing. They looked like they were going really fast because unlike a normal swimming race they never came up for air. ua-cam.com/video/EbouJhNIkBc/v-deo.html.
@@keithfavara4943 wow I got to see this. Lol
One minute in and I just said out loud, "Well that's the most-difficult sport I've ever seen." The game hasn't even started yet.
How in the world did this channel come up? Never seen anything like it. What an incredible sport!
Oh my God, this is the greatest sport ever. Every score is a bicycle kick! Some scores look like Bruce Lee kicks.
Should watch men match. Very entertaining
The person that invented this games was like i want to play soccer, no wait volleyball, no nevermind maybe martial arts, screw this ill just put all three together.
this sport is much older than the sport that your mention
The persons was like,, i wanna play volleyball, but im asian, so,,
I've been alive 42 years and I just discovered today that this exists...
I cant even calculate what I'm looking at.
笑顔で楽しそうにやってるチームって本当に見ていてワクワクします。
かっこいいよ~~~~~!!
I just pulled my groin from watching!
Hiya ya *toot* *toot* Hiya ya *toot* *toot*
my crotch hurts just by watching this
I blew out my kneecap watching.
congrats . u r not a virgin now
Hahahahaha
Lmao 😂
I kinda wanted to be a sepak takraw player when i was young because my father was one. But it's so hard and i got fat
LOL
looool what is this sport, like wow it looks sick
its in the title but ill just type it out for you again: the sport is called sepak takraw
(Quite long, sorry)
I tried playing it with my relatives. I injured my thigh after trying one of those high kicks or spikes 😂. It's commonly played here in most South Asian countries as leisure sport.
Some called it 'sepak takraw' some called it 'sepak raga' which both literally means 'straw-ball kicking'.
You can play it with at least 2 or 3 people and a 'bola takraw'😄.
This sport is a total favourites by males here in Malaysia and I'm sure in other Asian countries too.
I really watched this whole game, and I'm surprised cuz i thought I'd just watch a couple seconds or minutes. But they were balling, and very inspiring to watch. This is a new favorite sport of mine

It sounds exactly the same with roblox
@@char0.056 JSJAJAKAKA THAT

I thought it was edited in lmao
Hahaha 🤣🤣🤣
It's basically Volley, Soccer, and Taekwondo at the same time.
@Arya Lhasa in volley and football, you don't have those high kicks.. they are from some martial art like taek won do or karate
U can do those high kicks in football, its called a volley shot.
@@aljon5947 jajaj u want to teach me? , i said u dont see those shots infootball, there are legal.. bit no one do those kind of shots, volley shots are shooting the ball in the air.. but not necessarely that way.. those shots look more like scissor shots or bycicle shots
Epic right!!
but still u have those kicks in football. :), its like saying that a martial art technique doesnt exist because its barely used!
This sport is just incredible to watch. The precision, timing, athleticism, and concentration needed to play this sport makes these players some of the absolute best in the world. Probably the main reason that this sport is not more widely played around the world is that the level of difficulty is too much for other athletes.
One of the most difficult sports i've ever seen. Puts the million dollar soccer players to shame.
@C J B I already saw MU and Bayern player played this games, they can't do such thing like acrobatics skill like this, they played very good but at the basic level not professional level.
Each sport requires its own set of skills, so there is no need to compare. Obviously a football player can't do this things on their level, but none of these players can play football either.
One cold, dark night a football player and a karate figther met and after a dozen beers they came up with a brilliant idea.
You forgot the voleyball player
Good one!
Jesus they're literally doing the splits mid air and firing sandbags at their opponents heads this is wild.
It's not really requirement to be able to do the aerial moves. You can just use headers to spike the ball if you can't do that.
It's like the dunk in Basketball. Pros do that all the time but it's not a requirement to be able to play it recreationally.
Pretty sure that's a plastic ball, but yeah that's insane hahah. Like hacky sac on steroids
@@michaelfitzgerald6341 The ball is made from rattan. Yup.. very painful... hahaha
@@Muser187 Ahh dang that's gotta sting when you catch a spike 😅

They’re all amazing, but good lord #8 on the Thailand team is a monster!
I pulled a hamstring just watching this.
😂😂
Same.
That Thailand lady is unstoppable. She just whips that leg over her head and smashed the ball. BEAST!!
Talk about learning something new everyday…this is a new one for me
I'm from India and used to play the game in my high school though I could never become as half as good as them. It's insanely difficult and the level of fitness and flexibility the game demands is just on another level
Ronaldinho: I scored goals with bicycle kick
Southern Asians: That's cute
Yeah they don’t even leave the ground!
They're south east Asians.
What about zlatans bicycle kick? That’s the best ever
