Yeah.. I've been on the receiving end more than once. I don't recommend it.

@@S2StrategicDefense i watched The Irishman. Al Pacino's character said, "charge a gun, run from a knife." Makes sense. What's your advice if you're the one with a strict? Lol

@@nateand3 I haven't seen Irishman yet, but my advice is that distance matters and one of the things that makes knives so dangerous is that it's an up close and personal kinda weapon. It's not used at 10, 15, 20, 30 feet. It's all within 5 feet.. so running usually means you get stabbed in the back/side.

@@S2StrategicDefense right right. I know I can't outrun a bullet....that's why I figured it made since. A guy pulled a knife on me one time. I was in a hallway and the only way out was through him and his large friend behind him. I got real loud and ran at them hard. Lucky for me, he didn't know what he was doing and i plowed him right over his big friend. Now, to be fair, we were in high school and wasn't a United States Marine yet, but I think I'd probably go the same route now.

@@S2StrategicDefense btw, I really enjoy your channel. I've been thinking about getting back into some kind of hand to hand training again. Which i haven't done in over 20 years and honestly don't know yet what's available in my area. Any suggestions?
