Very cool feature. 530 has live track feature to send an email out. That coupled with the incident tracking could help lead help to you as well Nothings 100% but connectivity technology is helpful.
I ride alone most of the time and never even thought about this kind of safety net. I know, better safe than sorry but damn those false alarms might get annoying over time.
I mostly do solo backpacking which doesn't apply to this, but I also solo bikepack and mountain bike. It seems like a nice feature but definitely needs some tweaking, and the 30 second reply seems really quick. Heck, when I crash I need 30 seconds just to stand back up and account for everything. But then I'm a little older too ! Hahaha
Up until literally yesterday, I've used just the 'rubber band' mount: www.amazon.com/Garmin-mount-quick-release-quarter/dp/B002NU6J1Y/ Yesterday I put on a shorter stem and no longer have room and not sure on my final mount now
Cooper Sellers Right, I was thinking about how secure it will be on rubber mount but stem length might be the bigger issue here, as mine is very short as well 🙂 thanks for the answer!
Awesome, Coop!
Nothing wrong with the quality mate, that was what I needed to know.

It is a minor annoyance but worth it to me.
I wasn't aware of this feature, this is super cool
Yeah! Gotta have it!

Spot and/or Sat phone! The one thing with the incident detection is that you have to have cell coverage for your phone to send out notifications.
Good reminder 👍
Great video, thanks! Which garmin mount do you use for mtb rides like these on your video? 🙂
