As a techy it does suck to have something newer and letting go of the old stuff we learned on. That made us love tech in the first place and work hard to buy. If it’s something that’s going to add value to your life and be more productive then have at it. :) and your old computer can always go to someone else who can learn on it!

i use both so much! i use my imac for gaming and editing shorts and tik toks and i use my macbook strictly for my long form videos! and its been so nice having separate systems!✨

MacOS has a tool called Migration Assistant, to go from one Mac to another.
