I have guys in my group like Mr. Shorts guy. Me? 4- layers baby! Insulated pants and an over the ear beanie. Sometimes a cart heater too and yes, I’m from the south.

Not sure but here in California we don’t normally get all day 35° weather. It usually shots up quickly.
