In any case, it's okay if the fatality rate and the number of critically ill patients are not relatively high. At least looking at the period after the delta variant outbreak, the spread alone could no longer prove that there was a serious problem with quarantine. That's why regions such as Korea, Australia, and Singapore all have the same very high confirmed rates, but they cannot even say that quarantine has completely failed. Areas that are well equipped with their own vaccines and quarantine guidelines in case of confirmation.
Of course, honestly, I don't know if Lithuania is the same too.

North Korea probably has hundreds if not thousands of cases, they're just not willing to admit it.

I think the "countries infected but do not appear on map" section should come in reverse in some time point, i.e change to countries NOT infected. I guess there is only a few of them, which makes it a lot more readible.

It isnt a problem anymore, the omicron variant is FAR LESS deadly and dangerous than the delta variant and add the vaccines we have now, they would be right if they dont think its a problem ANYMORE. keyword, ANYMORE, it was definitely a problem before the omicron variant.

@@ghostyidk9383 yes and what are we supposed to do? Lockdown and destroy the economy even further? Governments need to decide on the trade-off on whether a lockdown which would destroy the economy even more is worth saving some lifes of mostly unvaccinated elderly and it just isnt worth the cost to the economy anymore with the omicrabt variant, no government is idiotic enough to say that but its the truth. Of course even omicron is a issue if the elderly refuses to get vaccinated such as in hongkong which is partially why hongkong is still in lockdown, the other main reason being china's stupid zero covid policy which clearly isnt working that well at all, with shanghai now being in lockdown.

During the pandemic, my friend studied at Medical University (Russia) and worked as a nurse in new hospital that was built for 2 weeks specifically for the treatment of COVID-19. On the night when 9 of his patients died in 6 hours, he returned from work a different person. It was as if he had suffered a concussion.

My entire family got COVID a month ago and we all brushed it off because we thought it was just a cold
Same. We had no idea until my Uncle called my Dad saying he was got the Rona, (my dad’s a doctor), and it was a few days after Christmas so we all knew it was in the house. My mom and I had bad headaches, my brother had some symptoms and my Dad didn’t even get it somehow. My parents had antibody tests down a few weeks down the line and my mom had some and my dad didn’t.
